A subsurface soil purification method including: warming an activator liquid, for stimulating decomposer microorganisms that decompose a contaminant in subsurface soil, to a higher temperature than a groundwater temperature, and feeding the activator liquid into the subsurface soil by injecting the activator liquid into an in-ground injection well; warming an activator liquid, for stimulating decomposer microorganisms that decompose a contaminant in subsurface soil, the decomposer microorganisms being infused in the activator liquid, to a higher temperature than a groundwater temperature, and feeding the activator liquid into the subsurface soil by injecting the activator liquid into an in-ground injection well, or warming a purification liquid for decomposing a contaminant in subsurface soil, to a higher temperature than a groundwater temperature, and feeding the purification liquid into the subsurface soil by injecting the purification liquid into an in-ground injection well. The subsurface soil purification method also includes forcing air into the injection well, and feeding the air into the subsurface soil from a position in the injection well that is lower than a position in the injection well for feed-in of the activator liquid or the purification liquid.

A ground injection agent concentration estimation method including a injecting an injection liquid to which an injection agent and a marker exhibiting similar behavior in subsurface ground to that of the injection agent have been added, into the subsurface ground through a water injection well; measuring a concentration of the marker at a location spaced apart from the water injection well, and estimating a concentration of the injection agent in the groundwater from the concentration of the marker.

A subsurface soil purification method includes a first process of injecting a cleaning liquid, that separates a contaminant in subsurface soil from the subsurface soil and that has been warmed to a higher temperature than a groundwater temperature, into an injection well provided in the ground, and a second process of pumping up groundwater containing the cleaning liquid, in which the contaminant separated from the subsurface soil has been dissolved, from a pumping well that is provided in the ground so as to be spaced apart from the injection well.

The contaminated soil purification system includes: injecting, into contaminated soil through a water injection well, an injection liquid containing a purification agent to decompose a contaminant or an activator to stimulate biological decomposition by the purification agent; a process of measuring a concentration of the purification agent or the activator in groundwater in an observation well or in a pumping well, the observation well or the pumping well being provided at a location spaced apart from the water injection well; and a process of, based on the concentration that has been measured, automatically controlling an addition amount of the purification agent or the activator to the injection liquid or automatically controlling a pumping amount of water from the pumping well.
