An oil cooler,comprises oil channel members,A arranged one above another in parallel at a spacing and each composed of a pair of plates,A, each of the plates,A having a hole,at each of opposite ends thereof and a channel portion,between the end holes,the pair of plates,A being joined with recessed surfaces of their channel portions,opposed to each other to form the oil channel member,A; and annular header members,A each interposed between each pair of adjacent oil channel members,A at each of opposite lateral ends of the cooler. The header member,A has upper and lower end faces each comprising a flat portion,to be fitted to a flat portion,of an edge of each plate,A defining the end hole thereof and a recessed portion,to be fitted to a protuberant face of end,of the channel portion,each end face of the header member being joined to a peripheral edge portion of the plate,A immediately adjacent thereto and defining an opening,formed by the end hole,of the plate and an open end of the channel portion,thereof for communication with the header member.

Heat exchanger

In a heat pipe container having a working fluid enclosed therein, the container includes a container body in the form of a horizontal straight tube and having an evaporator portion, a heat insulating portion and a condenser portion as arranged from one end of the body to the other end thereof, and an upward hollow projecting portion provided on the condenser portion of the container body.

Heat pipe

A plate-fin heat exchanger having two fluid channels. The first fluid channel is defined by two flat plates opposed to each other at a specified spacing, and a first channel forming member interposed between the flat plates. The channel forming member is in the form of an aluminum extrudate comprising a pair of right and left spacing side walls and a hollow connecting wall interconnecting the side walls and wavelike in the cross section of at least one of its upper and lower surfaces. The second fluid channel is defined by two flat plates opposed to each other at a specified spacing, a pair of spacing side wall portions provided therebetween and a fin member positioned between the side wall portions.

Plate-fin heat exchanger

A plate fin heat exchanger having a first flow channel and a second flow channel which are formed by at least three flat plates arranged in parallel with one another at a predetermined spacing and opposed side walls provided between the adjacent flat plates. A platelike wall interconnecting the side walls is provided within at least one of the first and second flow channels and has a multiplicity of projections arched when seen from one side and formed by cutting the interconnecting wall and being projected upward and downward. Each of the arched projections is opposed to a fluid passage.
