A heat exchanger includes: a surface with a water-repellent coating. The surface has a surface structure that includes protrusions. Condensed water droplets, each having a droplet diameter that allows a subcooled state to be maintained even under a predetermined freezing condition, combine with one other on the surface and generate an energy. The surface structure uses the energy to remove the combined condensed water droplets from the surface.

Heat exchanger and air conditioner

A heat exchanger carries out heat exchange between a refrigerant that undergoes a phase change during heat exchange and another heating medium. The heat exchanger includes headers having the refrigerant flowing through interiors, a plurality of multi-hole first flat tubes, and a plurality of second flat tubes. The first flat tubes extend in a direction intersecting a lengthwise direction of the headers. The first flat tubes have a plurality of refrigerant flow channels with the refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant flow channels. The second flat tubes are stacked alternately with respect to the first flat tubes, with the other heating medium flowing through the second flat tubes. The headers are arranged to extend along a horizontal direction.

Heat exchanger

An electrolysis device is configured such that water flowing into a container from an inlet flows from an upstream side to a downstream side in the container and flows out from an outlet. A first electrode pair is arranged on the upstream side than a second electrode pair. In the electrolysis device, in order to suppress a decrease in current density due to electrolyte concentration in the water in the second electrode pair arranged on the downstream side than the first electrode pair, the current density in the second electrode pair is adjusted.

Electrolysis device and heat-pump-type water heater provided with same

A heat pump type hot water supply device is provided with a heat source side heat pump unit having a heat radiating heat exchanger that condenses refrigerant to radiate heat from the refrigerant. The hot water supply device is provided with a water tank that stores water, a water supply pipe that supplies water to the water tank from the outside, a water circulation pipe that is extended in a bypassing manner and circulates the water in the water tank from a bottom section to an upper section, a heat absorbing heat exchanger that is arranged on the water circulation pipe and connected to the heat radiating heat exchanger of the heat source side heat pump unit so as to absorb heat, and a hot water supply unit that comprises a hot water supply pipe that supplies warm water in the upper section of the water tank to the outside.

Heat pump-type hot-water supply device

A plate-type heat exchanger is constructed by piling a plurality of heat transfer plates (P ) having an aspect ratio (&equals;(longitudinal length (Y))/(lateral length (X))) of 1.5. The heat transfer plate (P ) is formed of a substantially planar plate in rectangular shape and has wave-shaped heat transfer enhancement surfaces ( ), ( ) formed on its surfaces. The four corners of the heat transfer plate, i.e., the lower left corner, the upper right corner, the upper left corner and the lower right corner, are formed with a first opening ( ) as an inlet of a first flow channel, a second opening ( ) as an outlet of the first flow channel, a third opening ( ) as an inlet of a second flow channel and a fourth opening ( ) as an outlet of the second flow channel, respectively.
