A display device configured to be used in a state of being fixed to a head of a user, includes: a camera; a display configured to display a part of an image captured by the camera as a display range; an orientation detection sensor configured to detect an orientation of the display device; a line-of-sight detection sensor configured to detect a line-of-sight of the user to the display; and a processor configured not to control a position of the display range based on the line-of-sight detected by the line-of-sight detection sensor in a case where a change amount of the orientation detected by the orientation detection sensor is smaller than a predetermined amount, and to control the position of the display range based on the line-of-sight in a case where the change amount of the orientation is larger than the predetermined amount.

A display apparatus according to the present invention is to be fixed on a head of a user, and includes: an image sensor configured to be capable of changing focal distance; a display configured to display, as a display range, a part of an image which is captured by the image sensor; an orientation detector configured to detect an orientation of the display apparatus; and at least one memory and at least one processor which function as a control unit configured to control a position of the display range based on a change of the orientation detected by the orientation detector, and the focal distance.

A first unit has a contact portion with which the projection is in pressure contact in a first direction. A second unit rotates relative to the first unit around a rotation axis parallel to the first direction by the driving force. Three or more support members are between the first and second units in the first direction to support the first and second units rotatably. The support members are positioned such that, during relative rotation of the first and second units, a contact point at which the projection contacts the contact portion is always located in at least one of triangular areas formed by connecting any three support members with straight lines when viewed in the first direction.

A vibration type actuator includes a vibrator, including a protrusion and a piezoelectric element, that is arranged to vibrate in response to a voltage, and a contact member having a contact surface which the protrusion contacts. The vibrator and the contact member rotate relative to each other around a first axis. The vibrator is tilted to the contact surface by a predetermined angle.

A vibration-wave motor includes a vibrator, a first holding member configured to hold the vibrator, a second holding member configured to hold the first holding member, a plurality of pressing members arranged around the vibrator and configured to press the vibrator against a contacting member that contacts the vibrator, a movable plate disposed opposite to the vibrator with respect to the contacting member, and a coupling part configured to couple the second holding member and the movable plate with each other. The vibrator and the contacting member move relatively to each other due to a vibration generated by the vibrator. One of the second holding member and the movable plate includes a transmitting part configured to transmit a driving force of the vibration-wave motor to a driven member.
