Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to include a substrate, a plurality of heat sources on the substrate, a heat spreader that extends over the plurality of heat sources, and a plurality of heat spreader mounting brackets. Each of the plurality of heat spreader mounting brackets are over a corresponding heat source from the plurality of heat sources and the plurality of heat spreaders secure the heat spreader to the substrate without extending through the heat spreader. In some examples, the heat spreader is a vapor chamber and the plurality of heat spreader mounting brackets are soldered to the vapor chamber.

System and method to help mitigate heat in an electronic device

Systems and methods are provided for battery cells including solid electrolytes. Solid electrolyte cells may be integrated with electronic devices. For example, a solid electrolyte cell may be integrated with a metal surface of a circuit board or an electrically conductive surface of a chassis. Surface-mountable solid electrolyte cells may be electrically coupled to circuit traces using, for example, a reflow soldering process.

An electronic device having at least one expandable speaker box is provided. The electronic device may include a base having at least one speaker disposed therein and at least one speaker box configured to expand. The electronic device may include further include a lid having a display configured to be attached to the base. The at least one speaker box may be at least partially formed of a compressible-expandable material, such as rubber. Alternatively, the at least one speaker box may be at least partially formed of a bi-metal material that expands when exposed to heat.

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for stream-based media management. A device may be configured to receive information streams including displayable content and to at least display the displayable content. For example, a stream manager in the device may be configured to control how the displayable content is displayed on a display in the device based on activity detected in the information streams. The activity may be defined by user preferences as trigger activities. For example, upon detecting a trigger activity in an information stream, the stream manager may cause the displayable content to be displayed or hidden, may cause the manner in which the displayable content is displayed (e.g., size, shape, order, etc.) to be altered, or may cause a visible or audible alert to be generated.

The SDAP manageability code may cause the processing logic to provide a sensor type and a measurement data payload type to a mobile communication device. The SDAP manageability code additionally may cause the sensor head to take a measurement, receive measurement data from the sensor head, packetize the measurement data, and transfer the measurement data payload to the mobile communication device.

A device, system, method, and machine readable medium for configurable ultrasound Doppler measurements from a mobile device are disclosed. In one embodiment, the device includes an oscillator capable of generating an ultrasound frequency sound wave. The device also includes an ultrasound emission module capable of emitting a first ultrasound wave at a first frequency and at a first power level and a second ultrasound wave at a second frequency and at a second power level. The device also an ultrasound receiver and amplifier module capable of receiving and amplifying ultrasound emission waves. The device also includes processing logic capable of receiving the first and second ultrasound waves and displaying those waves on a display device.
