The rear frame includes an inclined part that is inclined inward in, a vehicle width direction in going rearward and a horizontal part that extends rearward from a rear end of the inclined part. A rear part of the side sill includes a first enlarged width portion that increases in width inwardly in the vehicle width direction via a bent portion. A front part of the rear frame inclined part includes a second enlarged width portion that increases in width outwardly in the vehicle width direction. A rear end of the first enlarged width portion and a front end of the second enlarged width portion are connected. An inner wall in the vehicle width direction of the first enlarged width portion and an inner wall in the vehicle width direction of the inclined part are linearly continuous in plan view.

Body structure for automobiles

A lower structure of a vehicle includes front side frames, a vehicle body strength member, a floor panel, and a power supply unit, in which the front side frames are formed to have cross-sectional shapes that open upward at least at rear sections thereof, the power supply unit is disposed below a floor panel, the floor panel includes a pair of reinforcing panel portions which are respectively joined to the rear sections of the front side frames and cover the rear sections from above, and a floor panel main body portion which constitutes a portion other than the reinforcing panel portions, and the reinforcing panel portions are formed to have higher strength than the floor panel main body portion.

Lower structure of vehicle

A vehicle body rear structure includes: left and right rear side frames extending in a fore-and-aft direction in a rear part of a vehicle; a rear subframe attached to the rear side frames; left and right rear wheels supported by the rear subframe via respective suspensions; and a driving source mounted to the rear subframe. The driving source is arranged such that a center of gravity thereof is positioned more rearward than a rotation axis of the rear wheels. The rear subframe includes left and right rear subframe longitudinal members extending in the fore-and-aft direction and a rear subframe cross member extending laterally and joined to the rear subframe longitudinal members. The rear subframe cross member includes a protrusion that protrudes rearward at a laterally central part thereof. A rear end of the protrusion is positioned more rearward than a rear end of the driving source.

Vehicle body rear structure

A vehicle body rear structure includes: a pair of left and right rear side frames extending in a fore-and-aft direction in a rear part of a vehicle; a rear subframe attached to the rear side frames; and a pair of left and right shock-absorbing structures respectively provided at rear ends of the rear side frames and extending rearward. The rear subframe includes a pair of left and right rear subframe longitudinal members extending in the fore-and-aft direction and a rear subframe cross member extending laterally and joined to the left and right rear subframe longitudinal members. The rear subframe cross member includes a protrusion that protrudes rearward in a laterally central part thereof. A rear end of the protrusion is positioned more rearward than the rear ends of the rear side frames and more forward than rear ends of the shock-absorbing structures.

A vehicle body structure of a four-wheeled vehicle includes a pair of side members () extending in a fore and aft direction along either side of the vehicle body, a plurality of cross members () extending laterally between the side members, and a floor panel () attached to an upper side of the cross members. One of the cross members () passes through an intersection point of diagonal lines of a rectangular formation of supporting points of the four wheels, and at least one of the seat mounts () is positioned on the one cross member.

Vehicle body structure

A vehicle rear structure according to the present invention includes: a rear side frame disposed on each side of the rear portion of a vehicle body; and a rear cross-member coupling the rear side frames to each other. Each of the rear side frames includes a front-rear portion extending in a front-rear direction of the vehicle body and an oblique portion extending obliquely so as to be displaced gradually outward in a vehicle width direction as extending frontward from a front end of the front-rear portion, the oblique portion includes a narrowest portion at which the area of a closed cross-section is smallest, and the rear cross-member couples the narrowest portions to each other.

Vehicle rear structure

A vehicle rear structure includes: a battery case to house a battery; a rear side frame, a rear crossmember, and a gusset, which are included in a rear load transfer member which is disposed rearward of the battery case and transfers forward a collision load at the time of collision; and a bracket to transfer the collision load from the rear load transfer member to the battery case. The bracket extends from the rear load transfer member to below the battery case and is joined to a bottom surface of the battery case in an up-down direction.

A vehicle body front structure includes: a bracketthat is placed on a lower portion of a front side frame; and a front subframethat is attached to a lower portion of the bracket with a bolt. The bracket includes: a closed-end hollow bracket bodythat is suspended from the front side frame; a bulkheadthat is located above a bottom plateof the bracket body and vertically partitions the bracket body; and a collarthat extends from the bulkhead to the bottom plate of the bracket body. A thickness tof the bulkhead is smaller than a thickness tof the bracket body. The bulkhead joined to the bracket body has a bulkhead-side flangejoined to the front side frame.

Vehicle body front structure

A vehicle body side structure includes an outer panel which includes a side sill outer part and a center pillar outer part, a rear fender which is overlapped the outside of the outer panel, an inner panel which is mounted on the vehicle cabin side of the outer panel and a stiffener. The center pillar outer part includes an inclined part which is inclined backward and upward. The inner panel and the stiffener include an inner protrusion and a stiffener protrusion, respectively, which protrude backward and downward from the inclined part. A lower end of the rear fender is joined to the inner protrusion and the stiffener protrusion.

Vehicle body side structure

A rear sub-frame supporting a portion of left and right suspension devices on the rear side is connected to left and right rear side frames. A pair of left and right braces, the front end portions of which are joined to side sills and the rear end portions of which are joined to a middle area of the rear sub-frame in the vehicle width direction, are provided. Support recesses that swingably support control arms of the suspension devices are provided on the rear sub-frame. Intermediate areas of the left and right braces are each connected to a corresponding one of the left and right support recesses.
