A stent graft transport device includes a mounted state keeping wire that keeps a mounted state of a stent graft on a transport tube or a contracted state keeping wire that keeps a contracted state of the stent graft. The transport tube can be separated from the stent graft by pulling an operation end part of the mounted state keeping wire, and the stent graft can be in an expanded state by pulling an operation end part of the contracted state keeping wire. Furthermore, the operation end part of each of the wires is housed inside the transport tube. In order to draw the operation end part, a wire pulling-out string is provided, one end part of which is mounted on the mounted state keeping wire and the other end part of which is pulled out from a window arranged on a side peripheral surface of the transport tube.

Stent graft transport device

This invention provides a stent graft transport device that can perform not only automatic rotational angle adjustment by means of self-alignment, but also smooth and easy transportation. The stent graft transport device transports a stent graft to a lesion part along a guide wire that is inserted into the inside of a blood vessel beforehand. The stent graft transport device includes a posture control member that is provided with a through bore through which the guide wire slidably passes in a curved state in one direction. The stent graft transport device is also characterized in that the posture control member is shorter than the stent graft and is mounted on a distal end part of the stent graft.

This invention provides a stent-graft that has both shape-maintainability and flexibility, and when implanted in a living body, the stent-graft performs its intended functions for a considerably long period of time relative to conventional stent-grafts, without causing conflict. The stent-graft comprises a stent comprising multiple elastic rings and a graft. An auxiliary elastic wire whose rigidity is lower than that of the stent is arranged at the end-part of the graft, and the auxiliary elastic wire is connected to the multiple elastic rings at the opening part.

A treatment aiding device includes a flexible shaft; a filter; linear supporting members; an elastomer member composed of an elastomer in which a penetrating hole is formed, which elastomer member is arranged in the proximal side relative to the opening section of the filter such that the shaft penetrates the penetrating hole, wherein the outer diameter of the end face in which the penetrating hole is formed is larger than the outer diameter of the opening-section side of the filter when the filter is closed; and an outer tube in which a penetrating hole is formed, which outer tube is arranged in the proximal side relative to the opening section of the filter such that the shaft penetrates the penetrating hole in a state which allows movement of the shaft in the longitudinal direction; wherein the elastomer member is fixed in the distal side of the outer tube.

Endovascular treatment assistance tool

An endovascular treatment aiding device is an endovascular treatment aiding device including a flexible shaft; a filter fixed to the shaft such that an opening section is formed in the proximal side, wherein a ring having elastic restoring force is fixed to the opening section, which filter is capable of being opened and closed in an umbrella-like manner, and is in a conical shape having a bottom formed by the ring when the filter is open; and a linear supporting member fixed to the ring and a part of the shaft such that they are connected to each other, which linear supporting member enables closing the filter by application of an external force to the proximal side; wherein coils formed with a radio-opaque material is/are wound around the ring; when the filter is closed, a plurality of mountains pointing toward the distal side and a plurality of valleys pointing toward the proximal side are alternately formed in the ring to form a shape in which the mountains are positioned close to each other, and the valleys are positioned close to each other; and the coils are arranged on the ring such that the coils contain the positions fixed by the supporting member on the ring, but do/does not contain the positions of the peaks of the mountains and the peaks of the valleys.

To provide a medical tool that dramatically simplifies operations and has a small number of parts. For this purpose, the medical tool includes: an outer tube; a core that is inserted into the outer tube so as to be movable forward and backward; a medical tool main body that is attached to the core; and a containing member that is attached to the fore end of the outer tube, and is configured such that when by moving the outer tube forward relatively to the core, the containing member is made to approach the medical tool main body released out of the containing member, the containing member makes driving force for operating the medical tool main body act on the medical tool main body.

An artificial blood vessel A comprises a pair of discrete end wire rings , a tubular cover made of a sheet of flexible, tensile material which connects the end wire rings , and a plurality of intermediate wire rings arranged spaced apart between the end wire rings and circumferentially fixed to the cover by suturing or with adhesive. All of the rings are located on the outside of the cover. To implant the vessel A via a catheter, a plurality of dividing points which bisect the circumference of the front end wire ring are pulled forward while the movement of the midpoints between the dividing points following the movement of the dividing points is restrained by the projections on a tapered surface of a funneled tube so as to fold the front end wire ring into a wavy shape, with the dividing points forming forwardly directed peaks and the midpoints forming the bottoms of forwardly directed valleys. The dividing points of the front wire ring are pulled farther forward so as to fold the intermediate wire rings and the rear end wire ring into a regular wavy shape having the same phase as that of the front wire ring by the effect of restraint by the tapered surface and the projections thereby to collapse the artificial blood vessel A as a whole into a small size for passage through the catheter. Upon release of the artificial vessel from the catheter at the affected portion of the blood vessel, the artificial vessel is restored to its original shape. The end wire rings, the cover, and the intermediate wire rings alone keep the shape of the artificial vessel.

Appliance collapsible for insertion into a human organ and capable of resilient restoration

A valve is included as part of a medical appliance used to transport an artificial blood vessel into a body through a catheter. The valve is formed by a membrane having a plurality of holes which are normally closed and which can be pushed to open against elasticity of the membrane to permit a plurality of devices used to transport the artificial blood vessel to be passed through the holes in parallel with each other. In a preferred embodiment, a hole is provided at the center of the membrane and three other holes are equi-spaced from the center hole; equal spaces are also provided between adjacent ones of the three holes. A relatively thick embankment or projecting portion is preferably provided extending between every pair of adjacent holes, to avoid breakage of the membrane therebetween upon parallel insertion of devices through the holes.
