A power supply control device that controls a switching element of a switching power supply apparatus which includes a transformer having a primary winding, a secondary winding, and an auxiliary winding, the switching element coupled to the primary winding, and a capacitor coupled to the auxiliary winding, includes: a power supply terminal coupled to one end of the capacitor; a switch and a resistor coupled in series between the power supply terminal and a ground; a first control circuit that controls the switch; and a second control circuit that controls the switching element, in which the first control circuit performs control to turn on the switch when a first voltage applied to the power supply terminal continuously exceeds a first reference voltage for a first time, and the second control circuit performs control to turn off the switching element when the first voltage exceeds a second reference voltage higher than the first reference voltage.

A power supply control device includes a charge circuit, a detection circuit, and a charge control circuit. The charge circuit charges a capacitor coupled to a power supply voltage node based on a full-wave rectified voltage. The charge control circuit enables a charge mode of the charge circuit when the detection circuit detects that a power supply voltage is less than a first threshold voltage. The charge control circuit disables the charge mode when the detection circuit detects that the power supply voltage reached a second threshold voltage. The charge control circuit sets a charge capacity of the charge circuit in a second charge mode period according to a length of a first charge mode period.

A data decoding circuit of the present invention can regenerate a bit synchronization signal from a data received by using a code such as a split-phase code and Manchester code in which a binary value can be detected through a transition of voltage at a central area of a bit cell and transform the received data into a serial binary data. The data decoding circuit includes an edge detection section for detecting a transition point in the received data; a pulse generating section for generating a phase comparing timing signal having a pulse width of substantially 1/(4.times.fs) when fs is a data transfer frequency and a received data regenerating signal having a pulse width of substantially 1(2.times.fs) in synchronism with an output of the edge detection means; a phase synchronization oscillation section synchronized in phase with the phase comparing timing signal for outputting a signal having a frequency n times the data transfer frequency fs; and a sampling section including means for generating the bit synchronization signal by dividing a frequency of a signal outputted from the phase synchronization oscillation means into 1/n, means for sampling the received data regenerating signal based on the bit synchronization signal and means for transforming sampled signal into a serial binary data.

An input part of a semiconductor integrated circuit includes a fuse element formed from a metal wiring layer and connected between an input pad and a source line is formed from wiring material. The wiring material is aluminum, possibly doped with silicon. The fuse element is narrowed or thinned at a location remote from an internal circuit. The stability and certainty of the melting properties of the fuse element at the narrowed of thinned location is improved even when the device is sealed with resin, without interfering with the manufacturing process, and at the same time the desired fuse element properties are retained. Consequently, the operating characteristics of the internal circuit can be adjusted highly precisely and with certainty after the assembly of the integrated circuit into a package.

A current supplying integrated circuit which has multi-output for controlling current supply from a current source to a plurality of elements to be driven, such as LEDs, and comprises a plurality of switching devices for controllably supplying the current from the source to the corresponding elements to be driven wherein each of the switching devices has N unit switching elements arranged to be connected in parallel to each other to form a current synthesizing circuit. The unit switching elements have substantially the same current capacity. Each of the elements to be driven, such as LEDs, is supplied with a current whose intensity can be varied by N degrees by the synthesizing circuit. By varying the current intensity supplied to each of the elements, the unevenness in properties among them can be avoided or suppressed in an effective and simplified manner.
