A wireless power transmission device is provided. The wireless power transmission device includes a transmission coil including a first member, which has one end and the other end forming a first angle with a plane, and a second member, which is arranged on the plane and is connected to each of the one end and the other end of the first member, an impedance sensor for outputting a voltage value corresponding to an impedance change amount of a resonance circuit, which includes the transmission coil, a magnetic body having a side surface that is dented, the dented side surface facing a portion of the transmission coil, a motor for moving the magnetic body, memory storing one or more computer programs, and one or more processors communicatively coupled to the memory, wherein the one or more computer programs include computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors individually or collectively, cause the wireless power transmission device to receive the output voltage value from the impedance sensor, calculate the difference value between a reference voltage value and the received voltage value, determine control information about the motor on the basis of the calculated difference value, and drive the motor through the determined control information so as to control the distance between the magnetic body and the portion of the transmission coil.

Provided is an electronic device including: a battery, a resonant circuit including a coil and a capacitor configured to wirelessly receive power, a rectifying circuit configured to rectify an alternating current power provided from the resonant circuit to a direct current power, a DC/DC converter configured to convert the direct current power provided from the rectifying circuit and to output the converted direct current power, a charging circuit configured to charge the battery using the converted direct current power provided form the DC/DC converter, a controller, and a communication circuit, wherein the controller is configured to: control the charging circuit to set a magnitude of a reference current of the charging circuit to a first value, the first value being less than a maximum value of an output current of the charging circuit, control the charging circuit to set the magnitude of the reference current to a second value greater than the first value, measure a magnitude of an output current of the charging circuit after setting the magnitude of the reference current to the second value, control, based on a difference between the measured magnitude and the second value being less than or equal to a specified set value, the charging circuit to set the magnitude of the reference current to a third value greater than the second value, and control, based on the difference between the measured magnitude and the second value exceeding the specified set value, the charging circuit to set the magnitude of the reference current to the first value to receive wireless power.

The wireless power transmitting apparatus according to an example embodiment comprises: a power amplifier; a coil connected to the power amplifier and configured to generate an electromagnetic field based on power received from the power amplifier; an impedance sensing circuit connected between the power amplifier and the coil; at least one auxiliary coil electromagnetically coupled to the coil; and a controller, wherein the controller may be configured to: identify a change in impedance, from a signal sensed through the impedance sensing circuit, and adjust an operation setting of the at least one auxiliary coil based on the identified change in impedance.

A wireless power transmitter of the disclosure may include: a housing; a power amplifier disposed inside the housing; a first resonator including at least one coil and fixed to a first portion of the housing; a second resonator including at least one coil, rotatably disposed at a second portion of the housing, and configured to form a variable angle with the first resonator; a sensor configured to sense a shape change based on rotation of the second resonator; a controller configured to: identify a shape change of the first resonator and the second resonator based on a signal sensed by the sensor, identify whether impedance is matched for the first resonator or the second resonator based on the identification of the shape change, and generate a control signal for impedance matching for the first resonator or the second resonator based on identifying that the impedance is not matched; and a matching circuit including at least one coil and at least one capacitor, electrically coupled between the power amplifier and the first resonator, and configured to perform impedance matching based on the control signal received from the controller.

The detuning circuit may include at least one detuning capacitor and at least one detuning switch. In response to a voltage at an output terminal of the first rectifier circuit exceeding a first voltage, the control circuit may be configured to form a closed loop including the first coil, the first switch, and the second switch by controlling the at least one detuning switch to an on state and controlling the first switch and the second switch to the on state.
