Disclosed herein a method of producing an ultrasound that includes defining a set of criteria for an ultrasound emitter comprising a plate. The set of criteria includes a power output criterion, a frequency criterion and number of nodes for a resonance mode of the plate, a focus criterion, and a durability criterion. The method includes determining an outline and a thickness range for the plate, based on the set of criteria. The method includes using topology optimization to determine internodal zone dimensions for the plate, based on the set of criteria, the outline, and the thickness range. The method includes manufacturing the plate according to the internodal zone dimensions.

High-power ultrasound emitter design

A leak detection system configured to be attached on an exterior of a conduit to detect a leak in a non-pressurized conduit. The leak detection system includes a first fluid section and a second fluid section that each includes the same or similar fluid volumes. The first fluid section includes a testing chamber configured be attached to the conduit. With the testing chamber positioned on the conduit, a pressure sensor connected to each of the first and second fluid sections senses a difference in the fluid pressure between the first and second fluid sections to detect a leak.

External leak detection system to detect a leak in a conduit

A leak test apparatus including a sleeve member having a first end and a second end and being configured to surround a portion of a transmission medium, a first retaining device configured to couple the first end of the sleeve member to a boundary fitting to which the transmission medium is coupled, and where the sleeve member is configured to contain a leak detection medium and effect a pressurization of the boundary fitting with the leak detection medium.

Wire bundle fitting test apparatus, system and method therefor

In one aspect, lubricant compositions are described herein. In some embodiments, a lubricant composition described herein comprises a grease and milled metal sulfide particles dispersed in the grease. In other cases, a lubricant composition described herein comprises a grease, polytetrafluroethylene particles, zinc dithiophosphate, and molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate, wherein the polytetrafluroethylene particles, zinc dithiophosphate, and molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate are dispersed in the grease.

Lubricant compositions

An in-line mixing system and method for mixing one or more paint fluid subcomponents. The system includes subcomponent input lines (,) connected to a reducing manifold (,). An on/off solenoid valve (,) in each line is arranged to allow or prohibit fluid from entering the reducing manifold. The reducing manifold includes multiple input passages that converge to form a single output passage. A flow meter (,) is in communication with the manifold output passage to measure the flow of subcomponent fluid through the manifold. Using the flow meter, a control system (,) causes the input line solenoid valves to open and close to create a slugwise line of subcomponent fluids passing from the manifold output passage. From the reducing manifold, the slugwise line enters an integrator (,) where the subcomponents are partially mixed. A static mixer (,) connects to the output of the integrator to thoroughly mix the fluids. Preferred embodiments of a mixing system, an integrator, and an control instruction system are provided.

Multiple component in-line paint mixing system

An in-line mixing system and method for mixing one or more paint fluid subcomponents. The system includes subcomponent input lines (20) connected to a reducing manifold (22). The reducing manifold includes multiple input passages that converge to form a single output passage. A flow meter (26) is in communication with the manifold output passage to measure the flow of subcomponent fluid through the manifold. Using the flow meter, a control system (30) causes the input line solenoid valves to open and close to create a slugwise line of subcomponent fluids passing from the manifold output passage. From the reducing manifold, the slugwise line enters an integrator (32) where the subcomponents are partially mixed. A static mixer (34) connects to the output of the integrator to thoroughly mix the fluids. Preferred embodiments of a mixing system, an integrator, and an control instruction system are provided.
