An LED-based luminaire employs an LED module mounted to a housing. The LED module is advantageously configured to transmit heat generated by the LEDs across and/or through the module and to the housing for dispersal to the environment. LED modules can be configured with conductive or non-conductive cores, and may be configured to evacuate heat from one or both faces of the LED module. Further, multiple heat paths can be defined from components on an LED module to the housing and to the environment.

LED-based light engine having thermally insulated zones

An apparatus to filter noise from being induced into a power line. In one a ferrite choke is disclosed that filters noise from being induced into a power line. The ferrite choke includes a tube of ferrite, a supply power line and a return power line. The tube of ferrite is made of a single piece of ferrite. The supply power line is received inside the tube of ferrite and the return power line is also received inside the tube of ferrite.

A system for managing and routing one or more data cables is disclosed. This system comprises a telecommunications enclosure and a cable routing station. The telecommunications enclosure has an external surface that houses at least one data cable. The cable routing station is coupled to the external surface of the telecommunications enclosure and is adapted to selectively route one or more of data cables away from the telecommunications enclosure.

An electronic circuit card includes a circuit board and a faceplate attached to the circuit board. A connector is mounted on the faceplate such that the electronic circuit card occupies substantially one slot of a housing when the electronic circuit card is contained in the housing. The connector is also mounted on the faceplate to enable contact between the faceplate and a faceplate of an adjacent electronic circuit card for shielding against electromagnetic interference leakage when the electronic circuit card is contained in the housing. A ribbon cable electrically interconnects the connector and the circuit board. A strap is attached to the faceplate. The strap is adapted to secure a mating connector to the connector.
