The present invention relates to orally administered liquid pharmaceutical compositions of eslicarbazepine. The liquid compositions are in the form of ready to use suspension and suspension powder for reconstitution. It also relates to the processes for the preparation of said liquid compositions. The present invention provides liquid compositions of eslicarbazepine with desired technical attributes such as release profile and pH. The prepared compositions are useful in patients having difficulties in swallowing tablets and provide physician with providing a more convenient and less cumbersome posology.

Eslicarbazepine suspension

The present invention relates to stable pharmaceutical compositions of sulfur colloid, which advantageously provide a high radiochemical purity toTc-pertechnetate without causing the gel formation. The compositions include pre-lyophilized and lyophilized compositions of sulfur colloid. It also relates to a non-radioactive kit which upon reconstitution withTc-pertechnetate solution gives stabilizedmTc-Sulfur colloid radiopharmaceutical composition. Further, the process for preparation of said compositions and their use for diagnostic purposes are also disclosed.

The present invention discloses an extended release oral liquid pharmaceutical composition comprising eslicarbazepine or its pharmaceutically acceptable esters, salts, solvates, polymorphs, enantiomers or mixtures thereof in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The extended release liquid compositions are in the form of ready-to-use liquid compositions or reconstituted liquid compositions. It also relates to processes for the preparation of said extended release liquid compositions. The prior art discloses immediate release oral liquid dosage form. The prepared novel test formulations exhibited desired pharmaceutical technical attributes.

Modified release suspension of eslicarbazepine

The present invention relates to a solid oral pharmaceutical dosage form suitable for making a suspension comprising acid labile benzimidazole compounds and process for preparing the same. The prior art discloses various technical challenges associated with the granules for reconstitution into suspension like agglomeration of particles, viscosity and gelling time. The solid oral pharmaceutical dosage form of the present invention forms a homogeneous suspension upon admixing with an aqueous medium and exhibits desired technical attributes like viscosity, drug release, gelling time, dissolution and reduced adherence to nasogastric and gastric tubes.

Pharmaceutical suspension dosage form of benzimidazole compounds and process of preparation thereof

The present invention discloses stable delayed release multiparticulate powder for oral suspension of proton pump inhibitor compounds comprising: a) a core with an effective amount of proton pump inhibitor and at least one or more pharmaceutical excipients, b) at least one water-soluble seal coating over core c) at least one enteric coating layer over the seal coat wherein the core is free of a surfactant. The prior art discloses restrictive formulation techniques and suggests higher amounts of various excipients to achieve desired technical attributes. The prepared test formulations exhibited desired pharmaceutical technical attributes like drug release, assay, stability, no polymorphic change, reduced sticking to nasogastric and gastronomy tubes, and packaging material.

Delayed release pharmaceutical composition of pantoprazole and process for formulation thereof

The present invention relates to high drug load pharmaceutical compositions comprising Eslicarbazepine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, solvates, polymorphs, enantiomers or mixtures thereof. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing high drug load solid oral pharmaceutical composition comprising Eslicarbazepine acetate and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The prior art highlights various technical challenges for formulation development of Eslicarbazepine acetate at lab as well as at industrial scale and offer restrictive and complex approach for resolution of technical challenges. Compositions of Eslicarbazepine acetate prepared as per present invention, wherein disintegrant and/or binder is present in either intra-granular part or in extra-granular part of the composition exhibited desirable technical attributes like comparable dissolution and bioequivalence against reference listed drug.

Solid oral dosage forms of eslicarbazepine

The present invention relates to a stable, immediate release solid oral pharmaceutical compositions comprising iron chelating agents like Deferasirox and at least one pharmaceutical acceptable excipient wherein the composition is free of glidant. Prior art discloses various technical challenges and suggest restrictive and complex solutions for the development of immediate release dosage forms of Deferasirox such as utilizing a large number of excipients or non-conventional formulation techniques. The glidant free immediate release solid oral pharmaceutical composition of Deferasirox, prepared as per present invention exhibited desirable technical attributes like pharmaceutical stability, flow properties and comparable dissolution, bioequivalence against reference listed drug.

Immediate release pharmaceutical composition of iron chelating agents

The present invention relates to an immediate release solid oral pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of Tizanidine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, solvates, polymorphs, stereoisomers or mixtures thereof. The solid oral dosage form comprises one or more methacrylic acid copolymers or its derivatives and is bioequivalent to the commercially available counterpart (ZANAFLEX&#xae; capsule) after oral administration. The invention also relates to a process for preparation of a pharmaceutical capsule dosage form comprising an effective amount of Tizanidine Hydrochloride wherein, the dosage form comprises methacrylic acid copolymer or its derivatives.

Immediate release pharmaceutical composition of tizanidine

The present invention discloses stable delayed release multiparticulate powder for oral suspension of proton pump inhibitor compounds comprising: a) a core with an effective amount of proton pump inhibitor and at least one or more pharmaceutical excipients, b) at least one water-soluble seal coating over core c) at least one enteric coating layer over the seal coat wherein the said core comprises disintegrant (0-10%) and/or surfactant (0-2%) w/w of core.
