The disclosure relates to a support railing for a curved conveyor path. The support railing is of the type which follows the radius of the curved conveyor path. The support railing is secured in brackets, with at least one bracket in each end of the support railing. The support railing further displays a flexible intermediate section with fixed end pieces in each end of the intermediate section. The flexible intermediate section with its fixed end pieces is telescopically secured in the brackets.

An anesthetic system has an external gas reservoir and three gas bellows arranged in the external gas reservoir to alternatingly collect or deliver breathing gas from and to a ventilator unit. In this manner a completely closed system is achieved with minimal consumption of, primarily, anesthetic. The bellows are regulated by a regulatory unit which, via a valve system, can selectively connect a source of drive gas to one or more of the containers in order to compress the gas bellows respectively contained therein. When no drive gas is supplied, each bellows passively expands.

In a catheter unit for infusion cannulas, attachment wings are folded against the body portion of the catheter unit and laterally enclosed by a removable sleeve, a wall portion of which forms a finger grip for manipulation of the infusion cannula upon vein puncture.

The ear plug (40) includes an elongate body with a rounded tip portion and of an elastic material enveloped by a deep-drawn sheath (41) of thin flexible plastics film material. Rearwardly the plug preferably has a neck portion from which the sheath projects in the form of a stiffer collar or flange. Production of the ear plug includes deep-drawing a thermoplastic film or foil into a sheath with desired thickness distribution, and filling the sheath with elastic material (53). Filling may take place simultaneously with deep-drawing, the body of elastic material constituting a die for deep-drawing in a forming hole (45), or after the deep-drawing. In the latter case, an elastic die body is used to advantage, the shape of which generally corresponds to that of the finished plug, for deep-drawing in a forming hole suited to the die body.

Method for the production of an ear plug

An ear-plug comprising a plug-like body of fine glass wool and a surrounding casing of thin polyethylene film having low friction vis-a-vis the auditory canal. The glass wool is exposed at the surface of the expanded end of the ear-plug not to be inserted into the auditory canal. The ear-plug is fixed as to shape by means of a circumferential heat weld in the polyethylene film located where the expanded part of the ear-plug begins.
