For instance, the method may include: determining whether the vehicle requires a charging event at least based on a state of charge of a battery system of the vehicle; determining a charging location of a charging station from a plurality of charging stations based on data associated with the vehicle and/or data associated with each of the plurality of charging stations; determining a current location of the vehicle; determining information to guide the vehicle from the current location to the determined charging location and align a charging interface of the vehicle to a charging interface of the charging location; and causing display of the determined information.

Systems and methods for guiding vehicles to charging points

A method in an aircraft for identifying valid runway intersections for takeoff is provided. The method comprises: estimating a runway length required for takeoff based on aircraft parameters; estimating, at each of a plurality of runway intersections, a corrected runway length at the runway intersection by applying an elevation correction, a temperature correction, and a gradient correction; determining, based on the estimated runway length required for takeoff and the corrected runway length at each of the plurality of runway intersections, each valid runway intersection from the plurality of runway intersections whose corrected runway length is long enough for use by the aircraft for takeoff and each invalid runway intersection from the plurality of runway intersections whose corrected runway length is not long enough for use by the aircraft for takeoff; and signaling an aircraft display device to display on a map depicting the takeoff runway each invalid runway intersection.

Systems and methods for monitoring and providing alerts for takeoff runway intersections

A system and method of transmitting an aircraft report (AIREP) from a first aircraft having an enabled aircraft autoland system includes retrieving, via a first processing system, standard AIREP data from one or more avionic systems within the first aircraft, the standard AIREP data including standard AIREP reporting information. The first processing system retrieves autoland enablement data that indicates whether the autoland system was manually or automatically enabled, and also retrieves autoland information data from the one or more avionics systems, where the autoland information data includes current aircraft state data and current flight plan data and is different from the standard AIREP data. The autoland information data is appended to the standard AIREP data to generate an AIREP-autoland message and the AIREP-autoland message is transmitted.

System and method for transmitting reports from autoland activated aircraft

Disclosed are methods of displaying compatibility between an aircraft and a landing port, the method comprising: determining a current position of the aircraft and a gross weight of the aircraft; determining a landing port based on the current position of the aircraft; receiving a set of parameters associated with the determined landing port; determining an elevation of the determined landing port and a gross weight supported by the determined landing port at least based on the received parameters; determining whether the aircraft is compatible with the landing port at least based on the determined elevation of the determined landing port and by comparing a gross weight of the aircraft with the gross weight supported by the determined landing port; and causing display on a display device of the aircraft of an indication of the determination of whether the aircraft is compatible with the landing port.
