Provided is an axial fan including: a rotor blade having a rotation axis along an air-blowing direction; and a casing, wherein the casing includes: an outer frame portion housing the rotor blade; a cylindrical base portion located on the rotation axis; and a fixed blade provided between an inner peripheral surface of the outer frame portion and an outer peripheral surface of the base portion and downstream of the rotor blade in the air-blowing direction, the fixed blade includes a wind receiving surface, and the wind receiving surface in a first cross section, along the air-blowing direction, of the fixed blade has a smaller blade curvature than the wind receiving surface in a second cross section of the fixed blade along a cutting plane line at a position moved in a rotation direction of the rotor blade from a cutting plane line of the first cross section.

In this molded structure of the brushless fan motor, at least a part of a circuit board is supported by a notch portion in a distal end portion of a projecting end formed on a board storage portion side and a rotary shaft side of an insulator, the board storage portion and the insulator are placed in such a manner as to surround a periphery of a bearing support tube portion, a part of a molded portion is disposed between the bearing support tube portion and the insulator and between the board storage portion and the insulator, and the entire circuit board located inside a storage chamber, excluding the portion supported by the projecting end formed on the board storage portion side of the insulator, is covered with the part of the molded portion.

A waterproof blower includes a casing and at least four drain holes placed along a circumferential direction of the casing in the outer peripheral wall portion, in the first side wall portion, or in the second side wall portion of the casing. The at least four drain holes communicate with the inside and the outside of the casing. The at least four drain holes each have an opening on an inner side of the casing. The openings of adjacent two drain holes of the drain holes as viewed in a direction of a rotation axis of the impeller are placed at positions where a straight line as a chord linking portions, which are located on the outermost peripheral side of the casing, of opening edges at the shortest distance hardly intersects with the impeller.

Waterproof blower fan

A molded part is formed of an insulating resin such that a stator, electronic components, and a circuit substrate are included inside the molded part. A protective layer for preventing breakage of electrical connection that might occur due to expansion or shrinkage of the molded part is provided at least between the electronic components and the molded part. The protective layer is formed of an insulating material having shear adhesion strength smaller than that of an insulating resin of the molded part that has been cured. The shear adhesion strength and the thickness of the protective layer are defined so that, when the expansion or shrinkage which might cause the breakage of the electrical connection has taken place in the insulating resin of the molded part, separation between the electronic components and the protective layer can be caused.
