The air conditioning apparatus includes a heat exchanger in which the refrigerant and the water are heat-exchanged with each other, a high-pressure guide tube extending from a high-pressure gas tube of an outdoor unit so as to be connected to one side of the heat exchanger, a low-pressure guide tube extending from a low-pressure gas tube of the outdoor unit so as to be combined with the high-pressure guide tube, a liquid guide tube extending from a liquid tube of the outdoor unit so as to be connected to the other side of the heat exchanger, a bypass tube configured to connect a bypass branch point of the high-pressure gas tube to a bypass combination point of the liquid guide tube to bypass a high-pressure refrigerant existing in the high-pressure tube to the liquid guide tube, and a bypass valve installed in the bypass tube.

An air conditioning apparatus may include an outdoor unit through which a first fluid, such as refrigerant circulates, an indoor unit through which a second fluid, such as water circulates, a heat exchange device which is configured to connect the outdoor unit to the indoor unit and in which the first fluid and the second fluid are heat-exchanged with each other, first to third inner tubes configured to connect the outdoor unit to the heat exchange device, and a heat storage unit connected to the first to third inner tubes.

Provided is an air conditioning apparatus. The air conditioning apparatus includes an outdoor unit through which a refrigerant is circulated, an indoor unit through which water is circulated, and a heat exchange device including a heat exchanger in which the refrigerant and the water are heat-exchanged with each other. The outdoor unit includes a first valve device configured to guide a refrigerant compressed in the compressor to the outdoor heat exchanger and a second valve device configured to guide the refrigerant compressed in the compressor to the high-pressure guide tube of the heat exchange device.

An air conditioner includes a plurality of heat exchangers provided to form an internal refrigerant flow path of an outdoor heat exchanger in multiple stages, a bypass pipe configured to branch refrigerant discharged from a compressor and to guide the refrigerant to the plurality of heat exchangers, flow pipes branched from the bypass pipe and extending to refrigerant pipes provided in the plurality of heat exchangers and overlap pipes branched from a flow pipe connected to any one of the plurality of heat exchangers and extending to a flow pipe connected to another heat exchanger.

An air conditioner and a method of controlling the same are disclosed. The air conditioner includes a controller configured to determine a target evaporation pressure based on information sensed by an outdoor temperature sensor. The controller determines whether the determined target evaporation pressure is changed, based on a difference between a value sensed by an indoor temperature sensor and a set temperature of an indoor space and a value sensed by an indoor humidity sensor.

An air conditioner including a hot gas line for receiving a portion of refrigerant compressed in a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor expansion device for expanding the refrigerant having exchanged heat in the indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger functioning as a condenser in a cooling mode while functioning as an evaporator in a heating mode, and a 4-way valve for receiving a remaining portion of the compressed refrigerant, to guide the refrigerant emerging from the compressor to the outdoor heat exchanger in the cooling mode and to the indoor heat exchanger in the heating mode. The outdoor heat exchanger includes a main heat exchanger section functioning as a condenser in the cooling mode while functioning as an evaporator in the heating mode, and an auxiliary heat exchanger for receiving the refrigerant from the hot gas line in a frosting prevention mode.

An air conditioner is provided that may include at least one compressor that compresses a refrigerant to a high pressure; a plurality of heat exchanger that condenses the refrigerant compressed in the at least one compressor; a plurality of outdoor valves, respectively, provided at an outlet side pipe of the plurality of heat exchangers; a gas liquid separator that separates the refrigerant into gas and liquid refrigerants and supplies the gas refrigerant to the at least one compressor; and one or more bypass devices connected to the outlet side pipe of one or more of the plurality of heat exchangers and an inlet side pipe of the gas liquid separator, the one or more bypass devices controlling a flow of the liquid refrigerant. An air conditioning system may include an outdoor device disposed in an outdoor space, the outdoor device including a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger, a plurality of indoor devices disposed in an indoor space, the plurality of indoor devices including an indoor heat exchanger, and a distributor that distributes and introduces a refrigerant into the plurality of indoor devices. The outdoor device may include an outdoor branch branched into a plurality of refrigerant paths, a first outdoor tube that extends from the outdoor branch to guide the refrigerant to a first heat exchanger of the outdoor heat exchanger, a second outdoor tube that extends from the outdoor branch to guide the refrigerant to a second heat exchanger of the outdoor heat exchanger, and a bypass tube that extends from the outdoor branch to allow the refrigerant to bypass the outdoor heat exchanger, thereby guiding the refrigerant to the compressor.

Air conditioning system with distributor for a plurality of indoor units

An outdoor unit of an air conditioner is disclosed. The outdoor unit of the air conditioner includes an outdoor unit body, a printed circuit board having a heat generating element installed thereat, an electronic box mounted in the outdoor unit body, the electronic box having the printed circuit board installed therein, a heat dissipation module contacting the heat generating element, the heat dissipation module allowing refrigerant to flow therethrough, and a heat dissipation module support mounted in the outdoor unit body such that the heat dissipation module is fixed to the heat dissipation module support to support the heat dissipation module. Shaking of the heat dissipation module can be minimized when the electronic box is separated, thereby improving reliability of the heat dissipation module.

An air conditioner includes a compressor and a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a first header pipe to have a refrigerant compressed by the compressor to flow therein, a heat exchange unit including a plurality of first refrigeration tubes and a plurality of second refrigeration tubes to thermally exchange the refrigerant with air, a plurality of first header branch pipes coupling the first header pipe with corresponding first refrigeration tubes in the heat exchange unit, a bypass pipe to have the refrigerant, thermally exchanged in the heat exchange unit, passing therethrough in the air cooling operation, and a second header pipe to have the refrigerant passing through the bypass pipe to flow therein. A plurality of second header branch pipes couples the second header pipe with corresponding second refrigeration tubes in the heat exchange unit, where at least two first refrigeration tubes have at least one second refrigeration tube therebetween.
