A splicing display system and a display method thereof are provided. The system includes a plurality of display units; a memory configured to store an image signal inputted into the splicing display system; and a controller configured to read each frame of image in the image signal sequentially from the memory through a first transmission interface between the controller and the memory, perform image processing on each frame of image, and transmit a sub-image corresponding to the display unit in each frame of image to each display unit. Each display unit includes a memory module connected with a display screen in the display unit and configured to store the sub-images corresponding to the display unit outputted by the controller. The controller is also configured to control the memory modules to synchronously output the sub-images corresponding to the display units in each frame of image to the display screens.

The backlight source driving circuit comprises a switch field effect transistor (Q), a freewheeling field effect transistor (Q), a power supplying module, a control module, a LED group (Z) and a feedback module, the power supplying module is configured to supply power to the LED group (Z), the control module is configured to control turn-on timings of the switch field effect transistor (Q) and the freewheeling field effect transistor (Q) to be opposite, and the feedback module is configured to provide a feedback voltage to the control module. By utilizing the field effect transistor as the freewheeling device in the backlight source driving circuit, the power consumption of the driving circuit is decreased effectively and an efficiency of the driving circuit is enhanced.

One exemplary system comprises: a collection device adapted to collect optical signals of the LED array, transform the optical signals into electric signals and send the electric signals; a control device connected with the collection device adapted to process the electric signals, compare processing results with calibration values and output brightness control signals according to comparison results; and a driver device connected with the control device adapted to adjust brightness of the LED array according to the brightness control signals.
