According to one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a display device includes preparing a processing substrate with a lower electrode, a rib, and a partition including a lower portion and an upper portion, forming a first organic layer and a second organic layer spaced apart from the first organic layer, forming a first upper electrode and a second upper electrode spaced apart from the first upper electrode, forming a sealing layer located on the first upper electrode and the second upper electrode, forming a resist covering a part of the sealing layer, performing anisotropic dry etching using the resist as a mask, performing isotropic dry etching using the resist as a mask, and removing the sealing layer exposed from the resist.

Method of manufacturing display device

According to one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a display device includes forming a lower electrode, forming an insulating layer covering the lower electrode, forming a partition including a lower portion on the insulating layer and an upper portion protruding from a side surface of the lower portion, forming, after the forming of the partition, a pixel aperture in the insulating layer, forming an organic layer in contact with the lower electrode via the aperture, forming an upper electrode which covering the organic layer and patterning the organic layer and the upper electrode to form a display element.

According to one embodiment, a display device comprises a lower electrode, a rib, a partition, an upper electrode, an organic layer between the lower electrode and the upper electrode, and a sealing layer above the upper electrode. The partition includes a lower portion on the rib, and an upper portion on the lower portion with an end portion protruding from a side surface of the lower portion. The lower portion includes a first aluminum layer of a first aluminum alloy, and a second aluminum layer of pure aluminum or a second aluminum alloy different from the first aluminum alloy and which is arranged on the first aluminum layer.

According to one embodiment, in a manufacturing method of a display device, a first lower electrode, a second lower electrode and a third lower electrode are formed. A rib having first aperture overlapping the first lower electrode, a second aperture overlapping the second lower electrode, and a third aperture overlapping the third lower electrode is formed. A first thin film including a first light emitting layer is formed on the first lower electrode. A second thin film including a second light emitting layer is formed on the second lower electrode. An area of the first aperture is larger than an area of the second aperture.

According to one embodiment, an organic semiconductor device includes a supporting substrate, a plurality of organic EL light emitting elements, a first barrier layer, a flattening layer, and a second barrier layer. The flattening layer exists sporadically and makes gentle in inclination steep elevation change present in the surface of the first barrier layer. The first barrier layer and the second barrier layer are made of moisture penetration preventive material.

An organic EL display device includes a pixel electrode, a pixel isolation insulating film on which an opening at a bottom of which the pixel electrode is exposed is formed, an aggregate of an organic material partially formed on the pixel electrode that is exposed at the bottom of the opening, an organic film, including a light emitting layer, that covers the pixel electrode and the aggregate, and an opposing electrode that covers the organic film. The aggregate is formed at a corner formed by the pixel electrode that is exposed at the bottom of the opening and an inner wall that forms the opening of the pixel isolation insulating film.

Organic electroluminescence display device and manufacturing method thereof

A bank layer includes projecting portions swollen toward in a thickness direction of a first substrate in an adhesion area. A multi-barrier includes a portion, in which a organic barrier is not disposed, on an upper side of the projecting portions. Therefore, it is possible to obtain, in the adhesion area, a portion in which a first inorganic barrier layer and a second inorganic barrier layer directly come in contact with each other. In an organic EL display device including the multi-barrier formed of an organic material and an inorganic material, it is possible to prevent two facing substrates from being separated from each other.
