A driving circuit and a synchronization method thereof for a multi-panel display device are provided. The driving circuit includes a first driving chip and a second driving chip which share a power circuit. One of the first driving chip and the second driving chip is set as a master driving chip or a slave driving chip based on a control signal. The master driving chip transmits a power enable signal and a control signal to the power circuit, which triggers the power circuit providing power voltages to the master driving chip and the slave driving chip. When the master driving chip transmits a timing control signal to the slave driving chip, the slave driving chip performs a power synchronization operation to synchronize with the master driving chip based on the timing control signal.

Driving circuit and synchronization method thereof for multi-panel display device

A display device, a display driving integrated circuit (DDIC), and an operation method are provided. The display device includes a display panel, a first DDIC, and a second DDIC. The first DDIC generates a display synchronization signal, and drives a first display area of a display panel according to the display synchronization signal. The second DDIC is coupled to the first DDIC to receive the display synchronization signal. The second DDIC performs a frequency tracking operation on an internal clock signal of the second DDIC by selectively using the display synchronization signal. The second DDIC drives a second display area of the display panel according to the internal clock signal and the display synchronization signal.

Display device, display driving integrated circuit, and operation method

The disclosure is directed to a timing controller having a mechanism for frame synchronization, a display panel having the timing controller thereof, and a display system having the timing controller thereof. According to an aspect of the disclosure, the disclosure provides an integrated circuit which includes a timing controller to transmit a first TE signal to an application processor and receive a first image frame from the application processor after the application processor receives the first TE signal, and a control circuit to generate a first sync signal when the timing controller receives the first image frame, wherein when the application processor receives a second TE signal and the application processor is not ready to transmit a second image frame to the timing controller, the control circuit delays a first waiting period to generate a second sync signal.

A data transmission system is utilized in a Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI). A master device includes a control module for generating a control signal according to a feedback signal. A packet encoding module is coupled to the control module for encoding an original packet to be a transmission packet according to the original packet and the control signal to process a transmission operation. A slave device includes a packet decoding module for decoding, the transmission packet to be the original packet or a related display device signal corresponding to the original packet to a display device. A feedback module is coupled to the packet decoding module for generating the feedback signal to the control module of the master device according to a decoding condition of the control module, so as to switch a transmission mode of the transmission operation.

Data transmission system and method with feedback regarding a decoding condition

The disclosure provides a method for driving an OLED touch-and-display device, a driving circuit, and an OLED touch-and-display device. The method includes: generating gate driving signals that are sequentially shifted based on the first clock signal (GCK); sequentially applying the gate driving signals that are sequentially shifted to the plurality of GLs; writing display data in a display driving period for each row of pixels, to the row of pixels, wherein a time length of the display driving period depends on a corresponding gate driving signal and is smaller than the clock cycle; and for a display driving period for each of at least one row of pixels, setting a touch detection period corresponding to the display driving period or corresponding to the display driving period for previous row of pixels at least partially overlapping with the display driving period in time.

Method for driving touch-and-display device, driving circuit, and touch-and-display device

The disclosure provides a method for driving an OLED touch-and-display device, a driving circuit, and the OLED touch-and-display device. The method includes: dividing each display frame into at least one display period and at least one touch detection period which are alternated; during each display period, generating sequentially-shifted gate driving signals and sequentially-shifted light-emission control signals, and sequentially applying them to at least a part of gate driving lines of the plurality and corresponding light-emission control lines; during each touch detection period: suspending the generation of gate driving signals or also suspending the generation of light-emission control signals; adjusting the average display luminance of a plurality of rows of pixels within a predetermined time period, so that the display luminance is uniform, and the gate driving signal for each row of pixels and the light-emission control signal of the light-emission control line maintain a preset timing relationship.
