A method for detecting objects and labeling the objects with distances in an image includes steps of: obtaining a thermal image from a thermal camera, an RGB image from an RGB camera, and radar information from an mmWave radar; adjusting the thermal image based on the RGB image to generate an adjusted thermal image, and generating a fused image based on the RGB image and the adjusted thermal image; generating a second fused image based on the fused image and the radar information; detecting objects in the images, and generating, based on the fused image, another fused image including bounding boxes marking the objects; and determining motion parameters of the objects.

Method and system for detecting and analyzing objects

Disclosed herein are a method and a system for creating a registered image that integrates the information of CT and CBCT images. With the present method and system, medical practitioners can precisely transform the information of CT image-based treatment plan into the CBCT image so as to accurately control the dosage and location of a radiation therapy. Accordingly, also disclosed herein are methods of treating a cancer in the subject with the aid of the method and/or system of the present disclosure.

System and method for creating registered images

A method for performing pedestrian detection with aid of light detection and ranging (LIDAR) is provided. The method includes: obtaining 3-dimensional (3D) point cloud data through the LIDAR; performing ground separation processing on the 3D point cloud data to remove ground information; performing object extraction processing on the 3D point cloud data to obtain 3D point cloud chart that includes pedestrian candidate point cloud group; performing 2-dimensional (2D) mapping processing on the 3D point cloud chart to obtain 2D chart; and extracting 3D feature and 2D feature from the 3D point cloud chart and the 2D chart, respectively, and utilizing the 3D feature and the 2D feature to determine location of the pedestrian. According to the method, image data obtained by the LIDAR may be enhanced, the method may distinguish between pedestrian far away and environment blocks, and pedestrian recognition in nighttime or in bad weather may be improved.
