An information handling system and peripheral mouse establish level four security when a preloaded security identification packet is available to securely identify both devices for the exchange of pairing information in a manner that avoids man-in-the-middle attacks. The peripheral advertises with both a BLE protocol packet that supports a conventional level 3 security pairing and a secure identification packet that supports a level four security pairing. When the secure identification packet advertisement is selected by a host, the BLE profile may be populated without performing pairing so that the profile can be used to subsequently pair without risk of a malicious device imitating the BLE interface.

System and method of automatically onboarding a peripheral device to a plurality of host information handling systems via a previously paired gateway peripheral device

A backend management server includes a hardware processor to code instructions of an automatic peripheral device pairing management system to receive a peripheral device identification (PD ID) associated with a wireless peripheral device from a manufacturer and the backend management server generating a temporary key to be associated with the wireless peripheral. The hardware processor to execute code instructions of a temporary key wrapping agent to wrap the temporary key in a transport private key and sending the transport private key-wrapped temporary key and PD ID for the wireless peripheral device to an assigned backend-coupled information handling system. A copy of the transport private key-wrapped temporary key is sent to the wireless peripheral device upon receiving a matching PD ID in a wireless peripheral device pairing query. The backend-coupled information handling systems may then verify and pair with the wireless peripheral device upon matching the temporary keys at both devices.

Method and apparatus for on-the-fly out of band temporary key derivation and assignment for pairing

A wireless input/output (I/O) device wirelessly coupled to a wireless dongle of an information handling system to encrypt and transmit a data packet frame in response to a transmitted polling packet from a wireless dongle requesting a selected number of packets of a selected packet length. The microcontroller executing code instructions to sign and encrypt the selected number of data packets generating a signature and generating an LFSR distributed signature and an LFSR distributed payload. An information handling system mouse autonomously provides a rapid visual image transition from a first display to a second display in response to a predetermined condition detected at the mouse, such as a left click that an end user performs when on the visual image title bar accompanied by a gesture or a hot key input. The mouse responds to the inputs by commanding an acceleration of movement of the cursor coordinates so that the information handling system rapidly moves the visual image from the first display to the second. In various embodiments, the movement can include a selection to go to a full screen presentation or to keep the visual image size the same. The visual image transfer is performed without any coordination with the information handling system other than commanding cursor coordinate movements.

A guide has a distal portion that engages a cleaning tool from insertion until a cleaning portion reaches the rear of the passageway. A cleaning tool deflector positioned at the rear of the passageway biases the cleaning tool from the distal portion of the passageway to a proximate portion so that the cleaning portion contacts the ROS window. A unidirectional cleaning feature ensures that the cleaning portion will contact the ROS window during removal of the cleaning tool by preventing re-insertion of the cleaning tool in the proximate portion of the passageway.
