A projector includes a case, an optical engine, a heat sink, a circuit board, and a fan. The case includes two sidewalls, and each sidewall defines an air hole. The optical engine is received in the case. The heat sink is positioned on the optical engine. The circuit board is positioned between the heat sink and one of the sidewalls. The fan is received in the case. The air holes of the two sidewalls and the fan form a dissipating passage. The heat sink and the circuit board are positioned in the dissipating passage.

A heat dissipation device of a light engine for a projector has a housing, a fan module, a light engine and a heat sink. The light engine is positioned in the housing and connected to the heat sink. The heat sink is positioned out of the housing. The housing has a fan-enclosed flow channel attached on an outer surface of the housing. The fan module is guided by the fan-enclosed flow channel to the heat sink to enhance heat dissipation efficiency of the light engine for the projector.

A light source assembly includes a light source, a seat, and a wire structure. The seat includes an electrical pin electrically connected to the light source. A light engine includes a light source module, an optical assembly, a collimating lens, and a reflecting lens. A dust-proof structure of a projector includes a color wheel module, an air diversion panel, and a circuit board. The color wheel module has a motor and a color wheel. The motor drives the color wheel by an axle to rotate. The air diversion panel is located on the circuit and positioned under the motor. The air diversion panel has an opening, a dust exit, and a dust collecting trough. The opening is positioned between the dust exit and the dust collecting trough. The circuit board has a sensor, which is placed in the opening of the air diversion panel. The dust exit and the dust collection trough of the air diversion panel prevent the sensor from dust aggregation.

An exhaust fan includes a fan frame, a fan, and a shielding plate. The fan frame defines a hollow shell, the hollow shell defines an air flow passage with an air inlet and an air outlet. The fan is received in the hollow shell, the fan includes a hub and a plurality of fan blades extending outward in a radial direction from circumference of the hub. The shielding plate is disposed at the air inlet side of the hub and covers an end surface of the hub facing the air inlet side. The shielding plate is separated from the hub.

Exhaust fan

A cooling system for cooling down a heat source of a projection device is disclosed. The cooling system includes a fan, and a control module. The control module is configured for supplying a first voltage to the fan for a first duration after the projection device is powered off and a second voltage to the fan for a second duration successive to the first duration. The second voltage is greater than the first voltage.

A light emitting diode (LED) module includes a driving circuit board, at least one LED, a thermal dispersing sheet and a heat sink. The driving circuit board includes a front surface and an opposite back surface. The at least one LED is mounted on the front surface of the driving circuit board and electrically connected to it. The thermal dispersing sheet is attached on the back surface. The heat sink is mounted on the driving circuit board in contacting the thermal dispersing sheet.

A projector includes a casing, a light source, and a heat dissipation device. The light source and the heat dissipation device are installed inside the casing. Two openings are formed at two sides of the casing opposing to the light source. A light shield is positioned on one of the two openings. The light shield has a fixing plate, and a plurality of first parallel light-shielding plates and a plurality of second parallel light-shielding plates for blocking light leaking from the openings.

A projector includes a lamp, a fan for dissipating heat generated by the lamp, a housing, a number of blades received in the housing, and a elongated-slider. The housing receives the lamp and the fan, and includes a top cover, a sidewall connected to the top cover, and a bottom cover connected to the sidewall. The top cover defines an through opening therein. The blades can be rotated in cooperation with the slide of the elongated-slider in the through opening. As described above, the projector can exhaust thermal formed by the lamp or electronic elements from the air outlet. At the same time, the flow direction of the air from the air outlet can be changed in cooperation with the slider. Therefore, when a user sits by the air outlet, the user can adjust the flow direction of the air from the air outlet at any time.

Projector

A light source assembly employed in a projector includes a light source, a power device, a light energy storage device, and a selection switch. The light source is configured for providing light beams for the projector. The selection switch is electrically connected to the light source, the light energy storage device and the power device and is configured for selecting one of the light energy storage device and the power device to provide power for the light source. The light energy storage device can absorb heat from the light source and convert the heat into electricity. Therefore, energy is saved and heat produced by the light source is reduced via the light energy storage device compared to the conventional light source assembly.

Projector and light source assembly employed in same

A safe light emitting device includes a reflective housing with an open end, a support coupled to the reflective housing, a holder, and a lamp. The holder is positioned on the support and is remote from the open end of the reflective housing. The lamp includes a bulb and a connector connecting the bulb to the holder. The bulb defines a concavity in an outer surface thereof.

A light source device includes a lampshade, a lamp, a cover, a first electrical wire, a second electrical wire, and a metallic clamping element. The lampshade includes an outer sidewall surface, an inner sidewall surface, and a light exit. An electrical connector is located on the outer sidewall surface of the lampshade. The lamp is contained in the lampshade. The cover covers the light exit. One end of the first electrical wire is electrically connected to the electrical connector and another end is connected to the metallic clamping element. One end of the second electrical wire is electrically connected to the lamp and another end is connected to the metallic clamping element, thereby electrically connecting the first electrical wire to the second electrical wire.
