The present invention relates to a cationic electrodeposition coating composition substantially free of lead compounds, which is excellent in curability and can be finish-coated with a splendid appearance, and an article coated with the composition. The invention provides a lead-free electrodeposition coating composition excellent in curability and a coated article, the composition being capable of forming a coating film, which emits less tin compounds to have no influence on appearance of a finish coating film and film performances.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a water-based paint recycling method with which there is no need to set up the water-based paint application booth close to the condensing separator, which affords greater freedom in installation. The present invention is a water-based paint recycling method in which, in a water-based paint application booth in the bottom of which booth water is pooled, the paint mist produced when a-water-based paint is applied is trapped by this booth water, the booth water containing this trapped paint mist is treated by the condensing separator, and the resulting concentrate and filtrate are reused, wherein this water-based paint recycling method is characterized in that the water-based paint application booth and the condensing separator are independent, not being connected by piping.

Water-based paint recycling method

In a continuous surface treating method and apparatus with an inline centrifugal separator, an object to be treated is contained in a basket and hung from a hanger of an overhead type and a series of surface treatments of the object is carried out by using a continuous conveyer of a power and free type. By using a hanger attach-detach conveyer, the object is moved from a main conveyer to a sub-conveyer and an excessive treating liquid attached to the object in a previous process is separated by using the centrifugal separator. Then, the object is returned from the sub-conveyer to the main conveyer to perform a next process. The surface treating apparatus includes the rotatable basket for containing the object. When the surface treatment of the object such as a heat exchanger or the like is continuously executed in the conveyer line, a bringing of the excessive treating liquid attached to the object in the previous process into a next process can be prevented and the concentration of the treating liquid in a bath can be maintained to a constant value. As a result, the obtained film thickness becomes uniform and the quality of the object can be improved.
