An apparatus comprising a stator and a rotor which are arranged inside a housing extending along a common longitudinal axis, wherein the stator encloses the rotor in a radial direction. A space is formed between an inside of a wall of the housing and an outside of a wall of the stator. The housing has a first housing element and a second housing element that are arranged with their contact surfaces aligned with each other thus sealing the housing. Thereby, a sealing element is arranged between the contact surfaces of the housing elements. The sealing element has the shape of an annular disc with a circumferential form and at least one sealing area. In the circumferential direction, the form corresponds to a contour of the contact surfaces. The sealing area is designed to at least partially enclose the space.

A device for compressing a gaseous fluid from a low-pressure section into a high-pressure section. The device has a housing with a housing member, a compression mechanism arranged between the low-pressure section and the high-pressure section as well as a flow duct connecting the high-pressure section to the low-pressure section. The housing member is configured with a high-pressure-side port and an oil separator. An outlet opening of the port and an oil outlet are configured at diametrical ends of the oil separator. The oil outlet is arranged in the lowermost section of the oil separator in a direction of the effect of gravity and is hydraulically connected to an inlet of the flow duct. The housing member is configured with the inlet chamber such that the high-pressure-side port is able to be arranged with the axis within the inlet chamber irrespective of the arrangement of the oil outlet.

Scroll compressor for refrigerant-oil mixtures with oil return

A scroll compressor for compressing a gaseous fluid, in particular a refrigerant. The scroll compressor exhibits a non-moving stator with at least one outlet and a moving orbiter, each with a base plate and a spiral-shaped wall that extends from the base plate. The base plates are arranged relative to one another in such a way that the walls interlock with one another and closed working chambers are created. The volumes and the positions of the working chambers are changed in reaction to a rotary movement of the orbiter here.

The invention relates to a method of manufacture of a scroll compressor (), in particular for pretreatment for the coating of areas in contact with one another during operation of the scroll compressor (). The scroll compressor () is developed with a non-movable spiral () with a base plate () and a spiral-form wall () extending from one side of the base plate (), as well as with a movable spiral () with a base plate () and a spiral-form wall () extending from a front side of the base plate (). A fixed scroll for a scroll compressor includes a plurality of pillar portions extending axially from a first face of the fixed scroll to an opposing second face thereof. Each of the plurality of the pillar portions is spaced radially outwardly of a spiral structure at least partially defining a compression chamber of the scroll compressor. The fixed scroll further includes an annular array of spaced flow openings into the compression chamber of the scroll compressor with each of the flow openings formed between adjacent ones of the pillar portions.

A scroll compressor for a motor vehicle air-conditioning system includes a compressor housing, two interleaving spirals within the compressor housing, of which one spiral is stationary and the other spiral is movable eccentrically on a circular orbit, whereby the volume of compression chambers formed between the spirals changes cyclically and refrigerant is suctioned in and compressed; at least one refrigerant outlet port for ejecting the compressed refrigerant in a wall, frontal to the spirals, of the compressor housing in the center of the stationary spiral, wherein in the spiral end region on the inner end of at least one of the two spirals the concave side of the spiral wall is provided with a cut that has the form of a cone segment with concave curvature, decreasing from the upper end in the direction toward the lower end of the spiral wall.
