The disclosure relates to an electromechanical camshaft adjuster comprising an electric motor and an adjusting gear, which has a housing with two housing parts that are sealed off with respect to each other by means of a static seal and with respect to the electric motor and a cylinder head by means of two dynamic seals. A first housing part of the adjusting gear has a pot shape that tapers in a stepped manner towards a housing bottom of the housing part, said pot shape having three different inner diameter regions. In the region closest to the bottom with the smallest inner diameter, a stop plate that acts in the circumferential direction is held. In the region with the middle inner diameter, an output ring gear is mounted with play, and in the region with the largest inner diameter, an input ring gear is secured.

Electromechanical camshaft adjuster

A harmonic drive including a housing component () and a drive element () which is held on the housing component, can be deformed by a wave generator (), is in the form of a flanged bushing and has a toothing region () having a cylindrical basic shape and a disc section () which adjoins the toothing region (). Adjoining the disc section () there is a bushing section () which is concentric to the toothing region (), overlaps the latter in the axial direction and is held interlockingly between a cylindrical edge section (), which is thick-walled in comparison with the bushing section (), of the housing component () and an intrinsically rigid component () which is likewise solid in comparison with the flanged bushing ().

Harmonic drive

A camshaft adjusting system () is provided for a first camshaft () and a second camshaft () which are arranged concentrically with respect to one another, the second camshaft () being arranged within the first camshaft (). A vane-cell type hydraulic camshaft adjuster () is configured for adjusting the first camshaft () and an electric camshaft adjuster () is configured for adjusting the second camshaft (). A front cover () which is fastened to a stator () of the hydraulic camshaft adjuster () and which closes off the camshaft adjuster () at a side facing away from the camshaft has an internal toothing () for supporting a flex pot () which is attached to the second camshaft () and which is designed for receiving torque from the electric camshaft adjuster (). A camshaft adjusting unit having the camshaft adjusting system () and two camshafts () is also provided.

This disclosure relates to a camshaft adjusting system for a motor vehicle, having an inner camshaft, and an outer camshaft, which is arranged coaxially with and radially outside the inner camshaft. The camshaft adjusting system further includes an input wheel, which is designed to introduce torque into the camshafts, a hydraulic camshaft adjuster, which acts on the outer camshaft to adjust the phase angle of the outer camshaft relative to the input wheel, and an electric camshaft adjuster, which acts on the inner camshaft to adjust the phase angle of the inner camshaft relative to the input wheel. The electric camshaft adjuster engages in the hydraulic camshaft adjuster at least partially in an axial direction.

Camshaft adjuster

A camshaft adjustment device () for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, with a drive part (), such as an outer stator, and a driven part (), such as an inner rotor. The driven part is supported so that it can rotate relative to the drive part between a first angular position and a second angular position. A separate insert part () originating from the drive part or the driven part is further arranged in a rotational angle limiting connecting link () that is formed in the drive part or the driven part, the insert part is arranged so that it can be brought into blocking contact with two blocking elements (), such as pins or pegs, that can move in the axial direction.
