The invention proposes a barrier comprising a blocking beam () that is mounted on a console such that it can be moved between an open position and a blocking position, wherein the blocking beam () is realized in the form of a tube section, on one end () of which a lamp () is arranged in a lens () that allows a linear light scattering in the direction of the other end of the tube section essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis () thereof, and on the other end () of which a device () for reflecting the light emitted by the lamp () is arranged, wherein the axial part of the tube section that extends between the lamp () and the device () for reflecting the light is realized in a translucent or transparent fashion.

Lighted blocking beam

A form-fitting connection between two components (and) has a break-away function in one direction. At least one connection element, designed as a shear bolt (), is formfittingly connected to the first component () to be connected. The end of the shear bolt () is formfittingly and functionally connected to a second component () via an attached component () that is resilient in the direction of the formfitting connection.

A bendable barrier boom () designed to serve as a vehicle barrier, comprises a boom column, a barrier boom (), and a drive for pivoting the barrier boom () between the blocked and the open position. The barrier boom includes a first barrier boom section (), which is connected to the drive for pivoting the barrier boom (), and a second barrier boom section (), which is connected to the first barrier boom section () via an articulated joint (). To maintain the second barrier boom section () in the horizontal position, provision is made for a cord () arranged in the first barrier boom section () parallel to its longitudinal axis that is tightened and clamped around two guide rollers (). The cord () and guide rollers () operate to maintain the second boom section in the horizontal position.
