Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to for handover. In response to reception of a request for handover of a second device from a third device to a first device, the first device transmit to the third device an indication that a radio bearer for the second device is to be changed from a split bearer terminated in a fourth device to a Master Cell Group bearer terminated in the first device, the second device being in dual connectivity with the third and fourth devices. The first device receives from the third device a transmission status of data associated with the radio bearer.

Data forwarding for inter-radio access technology wireless networks

In a radio communication system, a common channel is provided which is allocated to a plurality of subscribers at the same time for data transmission between a base station and a subscriber station. Measurements regarding the transmission quality are carried out on the common channel and their results are available in the base station. If the transmission quality does not meet a defined criterion, the base station transmits a first message to a controlling radio network controller associated therewith, the first message containing information about the transmission quality and about subscriber stations for which a bad transmission quality was measured. The controlling radio network controller sends a second message which informs serving radio network controllers, associated with the subscriber stations having bad transmission quality and responsible for the configuration of the subscriber stations, about the bad transmission quality.

Method for transmitting data in a radio communication network

The invention relates to a management method for radio resources in a radio telecommunication system, in which a first radio telecommunication system has a first decentralized functional unit (serving RRM function) for managing radio resources, and a second radio telecommunication system has a second decentralized functional unit (neighbouring RRM function) for managing radio resources. The first and the second decentralized function unit signal information with respect to a work load (load measurements) of the radio resources to a central functional unit for common radio resource management (CRRM function). The central functional unit (CRRM function) evaluates this information (load measurements) and signals information with respect to load targets to at least one of the decentralized functional units, said information being taken into consideration by the decentralized functional unit in an intersystem handover (ISHO).

Management method for radio resources in a radio telecommunication system

In the novel method for data transmission via a radio interface in a radio communications system, at least two data channels are assigned to one connection. Each data channel can be distinguished by an individual spread code. In addition to data symbols, midambles with known symbols are transmitted in a data channel. The number of midambles being used for the connection is less than the number of data channels. The method is particularly suitable for use in TD/CDMA 3generation mobile radio networks.
