The invention relates to a first component (-) intended for being connected to a second component (-). The first component (-) comprises at least one recess (---) having at least one opening (-) which will be filled at least in part by the second component (-) which latter is in a flowing condition during establishment of the connection, at least in the area of the opening (-). The invention relates to a multi-pole plug-in connector () having contact elements () which comprise a flat plug-in area () that transitions to a flat conduction area () the wide side () of which lies in a contact column plane (). The wide side () of the flat plug-in area () is rotated by a predefined angle () relative to the wide side () of the flat conduction area (). The plug-in connector () according to the invention is especially suited for making plug-in connections for transmission of high-frequency signals, especially in high-frequency digital signal transmission, where the data transfer rate may be over 10 GBit/s.

A multi-pole, multi-row plug-and-socket connector with shielding, for placement on printed circuit boards, circuit cards, and similar electrical components, which can be used in an electrical or electronic system includes electrical contact parts for the transmission of signals, which possess a connection section on one end and an electrically conductive attachment section on the other end, as well as an electrical shielding, which possesses at least one electrically conductive contact section. The free ends of the electrically conductive attachment sections of the electrical contact parts are SMD contacts.
