The invention proposes a cleaning device () for cleaning articles () to be cleaned. The cleaning device () comprises at least one cleaning chamber () and at least one application device () for applying at least one cleaning fluid to the articles () to be cleaned in the cleaning chamber (). The cleaning device () further comprises at least one controller () which is designed to actuate the cleaning device () for carrying out at least two operating modes. The controller () is further designed to detect at least one utilization variable. The utilization variable characterizes a current utilization of the cleaning device (). The controller () is further designed to assign at least one weighting to the at least one utilization variables. The controller () further has at least one counting device () which is designed to cumulate utilization times of the cleaning device () which are weighted with the weighting and to generate at least one item of use information about a use of the cleaning device () therefrom.

Cleaning device and method for cleaning articles to be cleaned

A cleaning apparatus for cleaning articles is proposed. The cleaning apparatus comprises a cleaning chamber for receiving the articles. The cleaning apparatus has at least one application device for applying at least one cleaning fluid to the articles in the cleaning chamber. The cleaning apparatus has at least one door for opening the cleaning chamber and for loading and unloading the cleaning chamber with articles. The door has at least one at least partially transparent handle. The cleaning apparatus has at least one illuminating device. The illuminating device is designed to illuminate the handle at least partially and illuminate the cleaning chamber and/or an inner side of the door in an opened state of the door.

The invention relates to a method for operating an automatic cleaning device, in particular an industrially usable dishwasher or cleaning and disinfection device with a man-machine interface and a display with buttons. Symbols for the operation and/or an ongoing process are illustrated on the man-machine interface. An interaction of an operator with the man-machine interface is effected via buttons. Depending on the requirements of the operator, context-sensitive help is retrieved via a retrieval, said help accessing a stored information supply comprising image formats, PNG formats, drawings, maintenance lists, spare parts lists and/or databases, which are offered to the operator.
