A connector is disclosed for connecting a first shaped element to a second shaped element. The first shaped element and the second shaped element each include a dovetail guide. In an embodiment, the connector is provided with contact areas. The contact areas are designed to engage into the respective dovetail guides to connect the first and second shaped elements.

A rotor is disclosed for an electric switch. In an embodiment, the rotor includes a rotor housing and a rotatably mounted contact link, which has two movable contacts. In an embodiment, by rotation of the rotor, the two movable contacts are configured to interact with two stationary contacts of an electric switch so as to close or open a circuit. Further, the rotatably mounted contact link is mounted movably in the rotor housing in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the contact link in its closing position.

Rotor for an electric switch

A rotor for an electric switch is disclosed. In an embodiment, the rotor includes a rotor housing and a rotatably mounted contact bridge, which exhibits two movable contacts, wherein, by the rotation of the rotor, the two movable contacts can interact with two fixed contacts of an electric switch for closing or opening a circuit. The rotatably mounted contact bridge in the rotor housing is movably mounted in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the contact bridge in its closed position.

A switch apparatus includes at least two contact levers, arranged rotatably about a common rotation axis and arranged, at least sectionally, parallel to one another and spaced apart. The contact levers each have two contact lever arms including contact sections for respectively making contact with one fixed mating contact section of a power line element. The two first contact lever arms make contact with a first force transfer element, and the two second contact lever arms make contact with a second force transfer element for applying a spring force. At least one force transfer element has, in touching sections for touching the contact lever arms, a bulge which extends radially outwards, for the uniform transfer of the spring force to the contact lever arms. At least one holding element of the two holding elements may be configured to be movable relative to the power line elements via an articulated bearing.

A rotor is shown for an electromechanical switching device, includes: a rotor housing; two contact bridges having in each case two contact portions; an intermediate element disposed between the two contact bridges and mounted so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis; and first spring pins and second spring pins; first spring elements and second spring elements. In an embodiment, the spring pins, the spring elements, and the intermediate element are operationally connected, and at least one of the first and second spring pins is disposed on the intermediate element and/or on the contact bridges such that the spring pin by rotating the rotor is tiltable between the two states in relation to the rotation axis. An embodiment furthermore relates to an electromechanical switching device including the rotor.

Rotor and electromechanical switching device having a rotor

A switching device, in particular an electrical power circuit breaker, is disclosed for protecting an electrical circuit. The switching device includes two pole terminals, a switching mechanism for automatically interrupting the electrical connection of the two pole terminals in the event of an overload, electrical components for controlling the switching device and a pole cassette in which the switching mechanism is disposed in a switching chamber. The pole cassette includes at least one gas duct which is connected to the switching chamber in a gas-communicating manner and is designed to discharge gas from the pole cassette past the electrical components to the environment.

Switching device

A switching device include at least two switching poles. Each of the switching poles has one current path and one switching contact system for opening and closing the current path, wherein a movable contact arrangement of the switching contact system of the switching poles has an integral switching shaft segment, formed from insulating material, which bears a contact lever arrangement and in which the switching shaft segments of adjacent switching poles are connected by way of at least two connecting branches; so as to form the switching shaft. The connecting branches extending at a distance parallel to the axis of rotation and are formed from corresponding connecting elements. In at least one embodiment, all of the connection elements of the at least two connecting branches are formed by first sections of the integral switching shaft segments, which bear the contact lever arrangements.

Multipole electrical switching device

An embodiment of the invention relates to a switch pole of a circuit breaker having two pole shells between which are disposed, in the assembled state, at least one switching contact, current-carrying elements and an arc quenching device having an arc runner plate and at least one splitter plate delimiting an arc chute, wherein at least one slot for accommodating the splitter and/or arc runner plate is provided between the pole shells. In at least one embodiment, there is provided inside between the pole shells a functional component having a least one slot spaced apart from the pole shells which is used to accommodate the at least one splitter and/or arc runner plate.

An electrical switch including at least one switching unit includes: a contact lever and two parallel plates, between which the contact lever is resiliently retained by way of pins. The contact lever is inserted into an electrically non-conductive housing of the switching unit, wherein at least one of the pins forms a retaining pin, wherein the length of the retaining pin exceeds the distance between the parallel plates and wherein the retaining pin extends through a hole in each of the two plates and is retained by one pin end in a retaining recess in the housing and by the other pin end in an opposite retaining recess in the housing.

Electrical switch and method for mounting a switching unit of an electrical switch

A device is disclosed including a removable cover of a housing of an electrical switch and a handle. In at least one embodiment, the handle, by way of its position, switches the electrical switch between different states. Further, the handle is connected to the housing and the handle includes a contour which is embodied, at least in one position of the handle, to interact with the cover for locking the removable cover.

An arrangement including at least two separate switch pole housings and a joining facility for joining the switch pole housings. Each of the switch pole housings forms an insulating enclosure of a switching space for receiving a single switch pole of an electric switching device. A side wall of a first switch pole housing, facing a second one of the switch pole housings, includes at least one recess for receiving at least one joining device of the joining facility. The at least one recess forms a first undercut with respect to a side wall and a first locating surface in parallel with a front wall of the housing. A circuit breaker is disclosed, in particular for low voltages, with moving and fixed contacts, a switching shaft and a contact lever. The contact lever is rotatably mounted on or in the switching shaft, and includes a free end that extends from the switching shaft, carries the contact piece of the moving contact on one side of its external contour and has a first depression on the other opposite side of the external contour for engaging a bolt. In at least one embodiment, the contact lever is subjected to a torsional moment in the closing direction by means of the bolt in each case. To ensure opening, it is proposed that a second depression be provided at a distance from the first depression, that a slot-shaped recess be formed on the switching shaft, that the contact lever, in the event of a trip, moves the bolt towards the side wall of the recess which lies in the direction of movement, which pushes the bolt out of the first depression into the second depression, the depth of which is such that the bolt lies on the bottom of the recess, which rises radially in the closing direction in such a way that a counter force must be overcome in order to rotate the contact lever in the closing direction.

Circuit breaker, in particular for low voltages

The switching device of at least one embodiment includes at least two switching contacts for interruption of a current path, with the switching contacts being arranged in a quenching chamber in order to quench an arc which is struck on opening. The quenching chamber opens into a gas outlet channel for overpressure which is produced during the striking of the arc to escape from. A pressure sensor for pressure detection is provided in the gas outlet channel and trips a switching mechanism, which is at least indirectly connected thereto, of the switching device on reaching a predeterminable pressure value. According to at least one embodiment of the invention, the gas outlet channel includes a Venturi nozzle. A reduced pressure, which is created in the Venturi nozzle as the gas flow passes through, is detectable by way of the pressure sensor.
