The present invention relates to a method for shutting down a generator unit () comprising a fuel cell device () having the steps (a) shutdown of a current generation via a control unit (); (b) detection of at least one anode temperature of an anode () of the fuel cell device (), in particular during a cool-down process; (c) blocking of an escape of carbon monoxide from an anode chamber () in which the anode () is arranged at least partially, in particular, at least for the most part, completely, if the anode temperature is higher than the first limit temperature T; (d) at least partial removal of carbon monoxide from an anode chamber () in which the anode () is arranged at least in part, in particular, at least for the most part, completely, if the anode temperature falls below a first limit temperature T. The present invention further relates to a generator unit (), a vehicle having this generator unit () and a use of this generator unit ().

Method for shutting down a generator unit having a fuel cell device

The present invention concerns a starting burner () for a fuel cell system (), having a catalyst () with a catalyst inlet () and a catalyst outlet (), a catalyst area () being formed between the catalyst inlet () and the catalyst outlet (), and the catalyst area () being surrounded by a catalyst wall () in a passage direction (D) from the catalyst inlet () to the catalyst outlet (), and an operating fluid guide section () for supplying an operating fluid (F) to the catalyst inlet (), wherein the operating fluid guide section () is arranged outside the catalyst () at least in sections along the catalyst wall (). The invention also concerns a fuel cell system () with the starting burner () and a method for heating a service fluid (F) in the fuel cell system ().

Starting burner for a fuel cell system

The invention relates to a fuel cell system () having a fuel supply unit () and fuel cells () having a cathode (') and an anode (&#x2032;), wherein the cathode (&#x2032;) features a cathode feed line (), the anode (&#x2032;) features an anode feed line (), and the flow in the anode (&#x2032;) is connected with the flow in the fuel supply unit () via the anode feed line (), in which a reforming apparatus () is arranged, and having an anode exhaust line () provided with at least one burner apparatus (). According to the invention, a first heat exchanger () is provided in the cathode feed line (), and a second heat exchanger (), which is arranged upstream of the reforming apparatus (), is provided in the anode feed line (), wherein the anode exhaust line () divides downstream of the burner apparatus () into a first anode exhaust subsidiary line () and a second anode exhaust subsidiary line (), each of which is connected to an exhaust gas outlet (), and wherein the first anode exhaust subsidiary line () leads through a warm side of the first heat exchanger (), and the second anode exhaust subsidiary line () leads through a warm side of the second heat exchanger (), and the vaporizing arrangement () is able to be heated via the second anode exhaust subsidiary line ().

The present invention relates to a generator unit () having a housing (), a fuel cell device (), which is arranged in an interior space () of the housing (), a gas-carrying duct () having an upstream opening () and a downstream opening (), a valve (), which is provided, in particular set up, to connect the interior space () to the duct () at least at times in a gas-carrying manner, a driving device (), which moves gas within the duct () from the upstream opening () to the downstream opening (), and a sensor device (), which is arranged in a downstream direction of the duct () starting from the valve () and is designed to detect at least one parameter of the gas.
