A system and method for determining the relative position of stations through radio location is proposed. In one aspect, a station is configured as an apparatus having at least one antenna. At least one first station has at least one first antenna, and at least one second station has at least two base-modulated antennas. The first station sends at least one locating signal via the first antenna. The second station reflects the locating signal as a first modulated reflected locating signal via a first base-modulated antenna and as a second modulated reflected locating signal via a second base-modulated antenna. The first station receives the modulated reflected locating signals via the antenna. The phase relationships of the received modulated reflected locating signals are used to ascertain at least one position angle for the relative position between the first station and the second station.

Method and arrangement for the relative position detection of stations by means of radio location

In an installation including first and second components, a radar sensor that has at least two channels, each arranged to be spatially at a distance from the other, is motion-coupled to the first component, and at least two coding radar targets, each arranged to be spatially at a distance from an adjacent target, are motion-coupled to the second component. A signal is sent to each of the radar targets using one of the at least two channels of the radar sensor. At least one coded signal is respectively sent by the radar targets upon or after receiving such a signal, one of the at least two coded signals being received by one or more channels of the radar sensor from each target. The temporal relationship between at least two of the received coded signals is acquired and used to determine an angle between the first and second components.

The embodiments relate to an image reconstruction to be carried out on a base unit of a MRI system, where data is formed by reception signals obtained by a local coil unit. Provisions are made for an alternating magnetic field, modulated in accordance with a reference clock, the alternating magnetic field to be used by the local coil unit for obtaining electric energy for supplying local electronics of the local coil unit and the reference clock to be retrieved from the received alternating magnetic field by the local electronics, a radio signal containing MRI information representing the reception signals and clock information representing the retrieved reference clock to be produced by the local electronics and transmitted to the base unit, and the received radio signal to be processed by the base unit such that the data and the clock information are retrieved therefrom and provided for the image reconstruction.

System and methods for providing magnetic resonance imaging data for an image reconstruction

Message symbols are sent radio transmission using an ultra wideband transmitter emitting a pulse-phase-modulated transmission signal that has isolated pulses, each of which has a time offset in relation to a time pattern, which time offset is dependent on a message symbol that the pulse represents. The transmission signal has a line spectrum having a multiplicity of modulated frequency lines. The transmission signal is received at a receiver, which obtains a narrowband signal from a single one of the modulated frequency lines. The modulated frequency line includes a bandwidth that corresponds to less than twice a pattern frequency of the time pattern. A phase of the narrowband signal is ascertained at predetermined instants and the respectively ascertained phase is associated with one of a plurality of predetermined message symbols.

Method for radio transmission by ultra wideband transmission

A method and an arrangement for determining the delay of a signal between a first station and a second station of the arrangement, with the aim of determining the spatial distance between the stations. A first series of first signal pulses is generated in the first station at a first pulse repetition rate f. A second and a third series of second and third signal pulses is generated in the second station, comprising a second fand third pulse repetition rate f, where f=f+&#x394;f and f=f&#x2212;&#x394;f. The second and third series of second and third signal pulses are transmitted to the first station, where the series are correlated with the first series of first signal pulses. The delay of the signal can be determined from the time elapsed between two successive pulses of the signal arising from the correlation.

Method and arrangement for measuring delay of a signal between two stations of the arrangement

An arrangement for detecting bending deflection of a wind turbine blade is provided. The arrangement for the wind turbine includes a radio transmitter and a linear antenna array assigned to the radio transmitter. The radio transmitter is mounted on the blade tip and emits a signal. The antenna array is mounted on the rotor of the wind turbine in a co-rotating manner and receives the signal. On the basis of the transit times of the signal from the rotor to the individual antennas of the array, the position of the radio transmitter relative to the array is determined. In the event of blade deflection, for example when a high wind load is present, the relative position changes which is detected by the arrangement.
