A power harnesser for harvesting electrical power from an electrical power supply including a current transformer arrangeable to surround an electrical power supply such that the electrical power supply induces a secondary current in a secondary winding of current transformer, a power conversion module coupled to the secondary winding of the current transformer, sensing module arrangeable to surround the electrical power supply and operable to measure at least one of: the secondary current, a voltage at first end of the secondary winding, a voltage at second end of the secondary winding; and a control unit coupled to the sensing module and the power conversion module. The control unit is operable to determine a target electrical power, determine regulation attribute for the power conversion module and adjust the power conversion module based on the determined regulation attribute to enable the power conversion module to generate the target electrical power.

Power converter for harvesting electrical power

An apparatus and a tool for installation of a measurement coil. The apparatus includes a tool and a holder. The tool includes a first portion and a second portion at least partially surrounding the first portion. The first portion is configured to receive a conductor and the second portion is configured to hold a measurement coil. The holder is configured to be detachably attached to the tool, wherein the holder is to be employed to install the tool holding the measurement coil onto a conductor. The first portion is configured to snap fit onto the conductor during installation, and the measurement coil at least partially surrounds the conductor when installed.

Apparatus and tool for a measurement coil

An apparatus and a method for operating an electric power network are disclosed. The electric power network is a compensated network arranged to be compensated by an arc suppression coil. An indication for an occurrence of an earth fault in the electric power network is received and the arc suppression coil is tuned away from resonance with respect to a resonance point of the electric power network, while the earth fault is present in the electric power network, to increase fault current in the electric power network for tripping one or more relays in the electric power network.

Method and apparatus for implementing services in telephone networks

A method for relocating a subscriber in a voice messaging system (VMS) which is connected with an extensive digital mobile network (GMS), including a plurality of mobile switching centres (MSC) and a home location register (HLR). In the method, VMS checks HLR repeatedly for the location of a subscriber and concludes on the basis of this information whether the subscriber has moved into the area of some other MSC for a period of time longer than a predetermined period of time and, in a positive case, the old VMS transfers the subscriber-related information to the new VMS, thus accomplishing the automatic relocation of the subscriber's home station in connection with a new MSC.
