A method of maximum power point tracking for a photovoltaic module system is disclosed. The photovoltaic module system may comprise a photovoltaic module array comprising a plurality of identical photovoltaic modules, and the tracking method may comprise: detecting system parameters and environmental parameters of the photovoltaic module array; estimating a first voltage coefficient of one photovoltaic module according to the system parameters and the environmental parameters; estimating a plurality of second voltage coefficients of the photovoltaic module array according to the first voltage coefficient with different shading ratios; estimating a plurality of local maximum power point powers according to corresponding second voltage coefficients; and determining a whole maximum power point by comparing the local maximum power point powers with one another.

Method and device for maximum power point tracking of photovoltaic module systems

The present invention provides a method for adjusting a maximum power of a circuit having a first voltage output and a first power. The method includes the following steps: (a) obtaining a voltage coefficient by measuring the first power of the circuit and calculating an open-circuit voltage of the first voltage output; (b) estimating an estimated power based on the voltage coefficient; and (c) repeating the steps (a) to (b) for a specific number of times, in which the specific number of times is determined based on a variation of the estimated power during a time period.

Method for estimating maximum power of a circuit and apparatus thereof

A routing method for a network is provided. The routing method includes the steps of a) selecting one of a plurality of basic nodes as a cluster head; b) broadcasting a first message by the cluster head; c) continuing to broadcast the first message by any of the plurality of basic nodes which receives the first message, until all the plurality of basic nodes receive the first message; and d) selecting a corresponding father node by each of the plurality of basic nodes based on an information associated with the first message.

Routing method for network and sensing system

An automated remote water quality monitoring system with wireless communication capability and the method thereof is provided. A water quality monitoring system is provided, including: a plurality of monitoring apparatuses, each of which has a radio communication module transmitting at least one environmental parameter; a server receiving the at least one environmental parameter via a base station; and a gateway being one selected from a group consisting of the plurality of monitoring apparatuses, being geographically the closest one to the base station, receiving the at least one environmental parameter and transmitting the at least one environmental parameter to the base station.

Automated remote water quality monitoring system with wireless communication capabilities and the method thereof

A process for converting a dilute ethanol solution to liquid hydrocarbon fuels such as LPG and gasoline by preferentially driving-off the ethanol molecules in the solution across the liquid-air interface and streaming same into a heating and catalytic reacting system maintained at the conversion conditions. The concentration of the dilute ethanol solutions are in the range of from 5% to 15% ethanol and the reacting system comprises a zeolite type of catalyst such as ZSM-5.

A positioning method for a sensor node is provided, and the method includes steps of: providing a first antenna having a first omnidirectional radiation pattern on a first plane; rotating the first antenna about an axis substantially parallel to the first plane; transmitting a wireless signal while the first antenna rotates about the axis for every a predetermined central angle; receiving the wireless signal at the sensor node; obtaining Received Signal Strength Indications (RSSIs) of the respective wireless signals; and determining a location of the sensor node according to the RSSIs.
