The present disclosure relates to a backlight unit, a display device, and a driving method. A sensing MUX circuit senses a voltage of a first light emitting node and a voltage of a second light emitting node, and then, detects whether a first light source connected between the first light emitting node and the second light emitting node is defective, whereby it is possible to specify and detect a defective light source.

Touch sensor integrated display device and method for driving the same

Disclosed is a light emitting display apparatus. The light emitting display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels provided in a display area of a substrate and connected to a data line, a clock line, and a pixel driving power line. The plurality of pixels each include a pixel driving chip connected to the data line, the clock line, and the pixel driving power line to sequentially output a driving current through a plurality of output terminals thereof and a plurality of light emitting devices respectively connected to the plurality of output terminals. Accordingly, a gate driving circuit and a gate line connected to the gate driving circuit are removed from one end of a display panel and omitted, thereby minimizing the number of pad parts disposed in the display panel.

Light emitting display apparatus

A display device and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The display device includes a display panel configured to display an image, and a parasitic capacitor compensation circuit including a compensation capacitor connected to a sensing line of the display panel and a control switch configured to perform a switching operation so that the compensation capacitor has a predetermined capacitance. The control switch is turned on in an image display operation of the display panel and is turned off in a sensing operation of the display panel.

Current integrator and organic light-emitting display comprising the same

The display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a display panel; a source drive IC configured to provide data voltages to the pixels, convert signals indicating driving characteristics of the pixels into sensing data and output the sensing data; and a timing controller configured to transmit a control data packet and a video data packet to the source drive IC through first and second wire pairs and receive the sensing data from the source drive IC through the second wire pair, wherein the timing controller is configured to load lock information indicating whether a clock extracted from a signal provided from the source drive IC through the second wire pair is locked or not into the control data packet and provide the control data packet to the source drive IC through the first wire pair, when receiving data from the source drive IC.

A gate driving circuit and a display device using the same are discussed. The gate driving circuit according to an embodiment includes a first shift register configured to sequentially shift a gate start pulse in response to a gate shift clock and output a gate pulse shifted on a per block basis, each block including a plurality of gate lines, a second shift register configured to sequentially shift the gate start pulse in response to the gate shift clock and output a gate pulse shifted on a per gate line basis, and a controller configured to supply the gate shift clock to one of the first and second shift registers.

Gate driving circuit and display device using the same
