A method of controlling a ceiling type air conditioner including a panel located on a ceiling surface, outlets formed at positions corresponding to four sides of the panel, a first vane group for opening and closing the outlets located at two opposing sides, and a second vane group for opening and closing the outlets located at the other two opposing sides includes performing a dynamic airflow mode in which an indoor temperature reaches a set temperature by controlling rotation angles of the first vane group and the second vane group, and calculating a pleasant airflow index Y for determining a pleasant feeling of a user at the set temperature. The pleasant airflow index is calculated using the indoor temperature, the rotation angle of the first vane group or the second vane group, an air volume, a distance from a floor surface and an airflow position as variables.

Method for controlling a ceiling type air conditioner

A method for controlling a gas furnace including measuring an indoor temperature, comparing the indoor temperature with a set temperature for heating, and operating the gas furnace in weak heating with a predetermined heating capacity, which is lower than a maximum heating capacity of the gas furnace, when the set temperature for heating is higher than the indoor temperature by a temperature value, which is less than a predetermined temperature value. The predetermined heating capacity for weak heating is maintained at a current heating capacity for weak heating, when the gas furnace operates in weak heating, and when an operating duration with the current heating capacity for weak heating is less than a first time value.

An air conditioner may include an outdoor unit including a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger configured to heat exchange compressed refrigerant; an indoor unit having an air inlet and an air outlet and connected with the outdoor unit through a first pipe through which refrigerant discharged from the compressor flows and a second pipe through which refrigerant discharged from the outdoor heat exchanger flows; a blowing fan disposed in the indoor unit; a main heat exchanger configured to heat exchange air, which flows inside through the air inlet, and connected with the second pipe; a reheat exchanger disposed downstream of the main heat exchanger and connected with the first pipe; and a waste heat exchanger disposed upstream of the main heat exchanger and configured to heat-exchange air, which flows inside through the air inlet, and condensate water, which is produced at the main heat exchanger, with each other. Accordingly, air flowing inside through the air inlet is primarily cooled before exchanging heat through the main heat exchanger, whereby the cooling and dehumidifying performance is improved.

A method of controlling an RPM of a blower for a gas furnace that passes air to be supplied to a room around a heat exchanger of a gas furnace, the method including starting operation of the gas furnace; measuring an air temperature in an outlet side of the gas furnace; measuring the RPM of the blower; determining whether the air temperature falls within a reference temperature range; and adjusting the RPM of the blower such that the air temperature falls within the reference temperature range.

A gas furnace according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a mixer for mixing air and a fuel gas, which are introduced through an intake pipe and a manifold, respectively, to form a mixture; a mixing pipe through which the mixture, having passed through the mixer, flows; a burner assembly for producing a combustion gas by burning the mixture having passed through the mixing pipe; and heat exchangers through which the combustion gas flows, wherein the burner assembly includes: a plurality of burners, to which a flame produced during combustion of the mixture is anchored; a mixing chamber serving as a medium for delivering the mixture from the mixing pipe to the burners. Accordingly, a full premixing mechanism may be provided, and a mixing rate of the fuel gas and the air may be maximized, thereby greatly reducing nitrogen oxide emissions. Further, the burner assembly includes a uniform guide disposed inside the mixing chamber and allowing the mixture to be uniformly distributed to each of the plurality of burners, thereby preventing an increase in local flame temperature, and greatly reducing nitrogen oxide emissions.

Gas furnace

A gas furnace includes: a burner in which a mixture of air and fuel gas burns; a heat exchanger through which a combustion gas produced by the combustion of the mixture flows; a duct including a room air duct through which air coming from a room passes and a supply air duct through which air supplied to the room passes; a blower that induces a flow of the room air supplied as the supply air to the room through the heat exchanger; and a humidification and dehumidification device with no water supply installed on one side of the supply air duct. The amount of moisture contained in the supply air is adjusted by an adsorbent coated on the surface of the humidification and dehumidification device with no water supply.

A gas furnace according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a mixer for mixing air and a fuel gas, which are introduced through an intake pipe and a manifold, respectively, to form a mixture; a mixing pipe through which the mixture, having passed through the mixer, flows; a burner assembly for producing a combustion gas by burning the mixture having passed through the mixing pipe; a heat exchanger through which the combustion gas flows; an exhaust pipe through which an exhaust gas, as the combustion gas having passed through the heat exchanger, is discharged outside of the gas furnace; and an inducer for inducing a flow of a fluid through the intake pipe, the mixer, the mixing pipe, the burner assembly, the heat exchanger, and the exhaust pipe. In this case, the mixer has a front end connected to the intake pipe, a rear end connected to the mixing pipe, and a side surface connected to the manifold.

A gas furnace is provided. The gas furnace includes a combustion part in which a fuel gas is burnt to generate a combustion gas, a heat exchanger having a gas flow path through which the combustion gas flows, a blower configured to blow air around the heat exchanger, and an inducer configured to discharge the combustion gas from the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes at least one single path in which a single gas flow path is formed a single-multiple return bend configured to communicate with the single path and convert a flow direction of the combustion gas, and at least one multiple path having a plurality of paths that communicate with the single-multiple return bend and form multiple gas flow paths.

A method of controlling a gas furnace comprising a gas valve for supplying a fuel gas to a manifold; a burner through which the fuel gas discharged from the manifold passes; an igniter for igniting a mixture of fuel gas passed through the burner and air; and an inducer for generating a flow in which a combustion gas generated by the burning of the mixture is discharged to an exhaust pipe via a heat exchanger, wherein the gas furnace performs a heating operation according to a heating signal or a heating stop according to a stop signal, includes the steps of: (a) receiving any one of the heating signal or the stop signal; (b) transmitting a signal to operate the inducer when the heating signal is received; (c) operating the igniter; (d) transmitting a signal to open the gas valve; (e) detecting whether the gas valve is opened or closed; (f) detecting a flow rate of the fuel gas in the manifold; and (g) displaying a normal operation of the heating operation, based on information detected in the steps (e) and (f).

The present disclosure relates to a condensate trap for a gas furnace for collecting and discharging condensate generated in a heat exchanger and an exhaust pipe, the condensate trap including: a first inlet through which the condensate generated in the heat exchanger is introduced; a second inlet through which the condensate generated in the exhaust pipe is introduced; a first passage through which the condensate introduced from the first inlet passes; a second passage through which the condensate introduced from the second inlet passes; a discharge port through which the condensate, having passed through the first passage and the second passage, is discharged outside; and a backflow prevention device disposed on the first passage and configured to prevent backflow of air, wherein the backflow prevention device includes: a housing; and a core which is movably disposed in the housing, and which in response to an amount of the condensate introduced from the first inlet being less than or equal to a predetermined amount, prevents backflow of the air by closing the first passage.

Condensate trap for gas furnace

Provided is an RPM control method for an inducer for a gas furnace that induces a flow of combustion gas produced in a burner from a heat exchanger to an exhaust pipe.
