Systems and methods of path-based mapping and routing are provided. Translation information and absolute information of mobile objects in environments are determined based on a fusion of sensing data from a radar and an inertial measurement unit (IMU) including a gyroscope and an accelerometer, from which path-based maps and optimal routes can be generated.

Methods and systems for path-based mapping and routing

Embodiments include wireless authentication devices, systems, and methods. A wireless authentication system can include an active wireless communication device including a first memory, first processing circuitry, and a first antenna, the first processing circuitry to produce an identifier request for an identifier (ID) and cause the first antenna to transmit the identifier request, receive the ID in a response to the identifier request, identify, based on the ID and data in the first memory, a location of a second memory to access, and produce an access request for the identified location of the second memory and cause the first antenna to transmit the access request. The system can further include a passive wireless communication device comprising a second memory, second processing circuitry, a second antenna, and a power harvesting circuitry to convert electromagnetic power incident on the second antenna to electrical power for the second memory and the second processing circuitry, the second processing circuitry to produce the response to the identifier request, the response including the ID, and cause the second antenna to produce the response, receive the access request, retrieve data from or write data to the identified location of the second memory based on the access request, and cause the second antenna to transmit the response to the access request.

Wireless authentication systems

A vapor sensor comprises a sensor element (), a cooling member (), and an operating circuit (). The sensor element comprises: a first conductive electrode; a second conductive electrode; and a dielectric microporous material at least partially disposed between and contacting the first and second conductive electrodes. The cooling member is in contact with, and configured to cool, the sensor element. The operating circuit is in electrical communication with the first and second conductive electrodes, and is capable of creating a voltage difference between the first and second conductive electrodes such that the sensor element has a capacitance-related property, and monitoring a capacitance-related property of the sensor element. A method of using the vapor sensor to detect an analyte vapor is also disclosed.

Sub-ambient temperature vapor sensor and method of use

A portable device includes an outer housing including an inlet port and a outer slot adapted to receive a vapor sensor card; an operating circuit disposed at least partially within the outer housing; a sensor holder at least partially disposed within the outer housing. The sensor holder includes: an inner housing including a gas intake chamber in downstream fluid communication with the inlet port. The gas intake chamber has a gas outlet in fluid communication with an inner slot retaining a sensor card socket for engaging the vapor sensor card. The sensor holder further comprises an electrical heater element, a fan, and a turbulent-flow-inducing member. The vapor sensor card comprises a sensor housing and a capacitive sensor element.

Portable electronic device and vapor sensor card

A vapor sensor includes a capacitance-related property sensor element (), a heater circuit element (), a capacitance-related property measurement circuit element (), and at least one switch member (). The capacitance-related property sensor element includes a dielectric substrate (), a first conductive electrode (), a second conductive electrode (), and a layer of dielectric microporous material () disposed between and contacting the first conductive electrode and the second conductive electrode.
