Computer implemented systems and methods are disclosed for importing data from electronic data files. In accordance with some embodiments, a file format is assigned to a source electronic data files by a data importation system. The data importation system may further identify a file type identifier associated with the source electronic data file and map the source electronic data file to a transformation template. The data importation system may further store the file format, file type identifier, and an indication of the transformation template as a file type profile associated with the source electronic data file in a database.

Computer-implemented systems and methods are disclosed that query collections of documents. Disclosed embodiments may include receiving, via a user interface, a first search query comprising a text string. Further, disclosed embodiments may include translating the first query object to match the formatting of a search engine, the translated first query object capable of searching a plurality of collections of documents. Disclosed embodiments may also include receiving aggregated query results from a search engine based on the translated first query object. Some disclosed embodiments may include reformatting the aggregated query results based on respective configuration files of the collections. Additionally, disclosed embodiments may include rendering a graphical user interface that facilitates user interaction with the reformatted aggregate query results.

Systems and methods for database investigation tool

Techniques in this disclosure may provide a user interface that concurrently displays multiple panels which provide visualization of emergency call data of a law enforcement agency. The user interface can provide a high-level overview of emergency calls in a geographical area. Each panel in the user interface can provide visualization of the emergency calls and/or statistics relating to the calls. A user can customize which panels to include in the user interface and/or customize setting for each panel. The user may apply various types of filters to the data displayed in the user interface, and the panels can update the visualizations according to the filters. The user interface can also provide the ability to show data at various levels of detail within the same user interface or panel. The techniques in the disclosure can provide a convenient, digestible overview of tactical and/or strategic data in a single user interface.

Systems and methods are provided for analyzing data in one or more datasets. One or more data objects can be searched for within the one or more datasets. One or more visualizations can be generated based on the results of the search for the one or more data objects in the one or more datasets. When a user interacts with a visualization, e.g., by applying a filter, removing a filter, focusing on a particular subset of the one or more data object, etc., the visualization is updated automatically. Moreover, other visualizations generated based on the same search results may be simultaneously and automatically updated and presented to the user. Rather than a user having to analyze and consume data in a tabular format, the user can interact with representative visualizations to more readily discover and/or reveal aspects of the one or more data objects that would normally be hidden in the tabular format.

Computer implemented systems and methods are disclosed for importing data from electronic data files. In accordance with some embodiments, source electronic data files are received at a data importation system and managed by the data importation system. The data importation system may load detector/transformer plugins and determined whether any of the load detector/transformer plugins apply to the received source electronic data files. The data importation system may also generate transformed data using a transformer corresponding to a detector that applies to the source electronic data files. The data importation system may import the transformed data into at least one of a data analysis system and a database.
