An evaporative humidifier including a wicking filter reduce the proclivity for mold growth using one or more of: a disinfecting light emitting diode (LED) and at least one sensor adapted to determine whether water is present in a particular area of the device and to operate a fan or blower while water is present. A method can include operating a blower that passes air about or through a humidifying wick that has been made wet by a supply of water; determining a first absolute or relative time at which the wick ceases to be made wet by the supply of water; and automatically deactivating the blower at a second absolute or relative time, wherein the second time is later than the first time by an amount of time sufficient to cause the wick to be dried by the blower.

A sleep mask is created comprising a sleep mask cover that can accommodate a weighted mask component and a thermal mask component. The sleep mask cover may include a fastening mechanism at the opening which may be removably engaged or disengaged to disable or enable, respectively, access to the opening for insertion of the weighted mask component and the thermal mask component. The weighted mask component may include a set of eye panels that are devoid of weight material to prevent unwanted pressure on a human user's eyes when the sleep mask is worn around the head of a human user. Further, the weighted mask component may include a pocket for insertion of the thermal mask component.

A recharging case for a vaporization device includes a body having a proximal end and a distal end. A first channel in the body has an opening at the proximal end, and a terminal end near to the distal end. At the terminal end a charging component is configured to connect to a charging connector of a vaporization device inserted in the first channel and charge the vaporization device from an integrated power source in the body. A second channel in the body may store additional cartridges for use with a vaporization device inserted in the first channel.
