A zero turning radius ('ZTR') mower sprayer attachment behind a rear engine of a zero turning radius mower. The sprayer attachment may include a frame supporting a tank on a platform, and a hose from the tank to a plurality of nozzles mounted on a folding boom that is extendable outwardly from the sprayer attachment frame. A lower support bar on a lower forward end of the sprayer attachment frame may be supported by a pair of rearwardly facing hooks on a pair of side brackets on the ZTR mower. An upper tube extends laterally between the pair of side brackets and is engaged by a hook shaped latch on the sprayer attachment frame.

A triplex greensmower open foot platform provides an opening in front of an operator seat providing visibility from the operator seat to a center reel cutting unit. The opening has sufficient dimensions for removal or installation of the center reel cutting unit or a grass catcher therethrough. A pair of platform sections provides a perimeter at least partially around the opening. Each of the platform sections including a footrest and a rearwardly extending coupling that is manually removable from the triplex greensmower. A flexible cover may be removably attached to the platform and extend over the opening and at least part of the center reel cutting unit.

A zero turning radius mower has an internal combustion engine mounted transversely on a pair of longitudinal frame members behind an operator seat and a pair of rear drive wheels. The engine rotates a flywheel on a horizontal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal frame members. A gearbox is mounted to one of the longitudinal frame members, with a horizontal input shaft driven by the engine and a vertical output shaft engaging one or more rubber belts. The same rubber belts drive a pair hydrostatic transmissions for the pair of rear drive wheels and a plurality of rotary mower blades under a mower deck.

A vent passage is provided through the output shaft of the gearbox and between a hub of a rotary fan and the output shaft.
