A vacuum pump, which is connectable to an external system and configured to evacuate material from the external system, includes a main housing defining a motor housing, a pump housing, and a partition wall that separates the motor housing and the pump housing. The pump housing is sealed relative to the motor housing to form a compression chamber that holds a lubrication fluid. The vacuum pump further includes a motor assembly that is positioned within the motor housing and a pump assembly that is positioned within the compression chamber. The pump assembly is driven by the motor assembly and is in fluid communication with the compression chamber. The pump assembly includes a pump chamber, a rotor having vanes that is driven within the pump chamber, and a seal that is in sliding contact with the rotor. The seal is moveable relative to the rotor.

Vacuum pump

A fish tape tool includes a housing including a base and a cover. The housing defines a chamber between the base and the cover. The base defines an exit opening and a channel extending from the chamber to the exit opening. The fish tape tool also includes a drum configured to be inserted into the chamber of the housing, the drum containing a fish tape. The drum is configured to be manually rotatable relative to the housing to dispense or retract the fish tape from the housing via the channel and the exit opening. The cover defines a central aperture that is aligned with a central bore of the drum.

Fish tape assembly

A fish tape assembly includes a fish tape tool including a housing, a chamber defined in the housing and a motor supported by the housing. The fish tape assembly also includes a fish tape drum configured to be inserted into the chamber of the housing. The fish tape drum contains a type of fish tape and includes a rotatable drum portion configured to rotate in response to receiving torque from the motor. The fish tape tool includes a sensor configured to detect the type of fish tape in the fish tape drum inserted into the chamber of the housing.

A system attachable to a refrigeration circuit includes a recovery pump attachable to the refrigeration circuit to remove refrigerant. The recovery pump includes a pump, an electric motor, a battery pack, and a recovery pump controller for controlling the operation of the electric motor. The recovery pump controller has a first communication interface. The system further includes an accessory attachable to the refrigeration circuit concurrently with the recovery pump. The accessory includes a sensor for detecting a characteristic value of the refrigeration circuit, and an accessory controller electrically connected with the sensor to receive a signal corresponding with the characteristic value of the refrigeration circuit. The accessory controller has a second communication interface to communicate the signal to the recovery pump controller via the first and second wireless interfaces. The recovery pump controller controls the operation of the electric motor based upon the signal received from the accessory.

A fish tape drum includes a frame and a drum portion rotatable relative to the frame. The drum portion has an outer wall and an inner wall. The first tape drum also includes a length of fish tape arranged between the inner wall and the outer wall. The fish tape drum further includes a constricting assembly configured to bias the length of fish tape toward the inner wall.

A stick pump assembly includes a tube having a first end, a second end, and an axis extending through the first and second ends. The tube accommodates fluid to flow therethrough. The stick pump assembly also includes a pump including a motor and an impeller. The pump has an inlet adjacent the first end and in fluid communication with the tube. The stick pump assembly further includes a handle having an outlet adjacent the second end and in fluid communication with the tube. The handle includes a receptacle configured to receive a battery pack. The stick pump assembly also includes a filter assembly supported by the pump and in fluid communication with the inlet. Fluid flows into the stick pump assembly though the inlet, around the motor, through the tube, and out of the stick pump assembly through the outlet.

Stick pump assembly

A wire stripper assembly includes a first bushing for stripping wire of a first size, a second bushing for stripping wire of a second size that is different than the first size, and a wire stripper having a housing and a drive mechanism. The first bushing has a first color. The second bushing has a second color that is different than the first color. The first bushing and the second bushing are alternately coupled to the housing for rotation about a longitudinal axis by the drive mechanism. Each of the first and second bushings has a tooth that is engageable with a wire for stripping an insulation jacket therefrom.

Wire stripper

A sewer cleaning machine including a rotatable drum, a cable positioned at least partially within the drum, the cable configured to be extended from and retracted into the drum along a cable axis, a motor coupled to the drum, the motor operable to rotate the drum, and a cable feed mechanism including a plurality of bearings arranged concentrically around the cable, the plurality of bearings configured to selectively engage the cable to feed the cable in a first linear direction along the cable axis, a cam ring including a plurality of cam surfaces, each of the plurality of cam surfaces engageable with a corresponding one of the plurality of bearings, and a handle configured to rotate the cam ring about the cable axis to move the plurality of cam surfaces into engagement with the first plurality of bearings.

Sewer cleaning machine

A drain cleaning machine for moving a snake in a drain. The drain cleaning machine includes a rotating shell, a motor, radial drive mechanism, a translate mechanism, and a selection mechanism. The selection mechanism includes an actuating lever moveable between an activated position and a deactivated position, a selection plate moveable between a radial drive position and a translate position, and a push plate. The push plate is moveable in a first direction relative to the selection plate in response to the actuating lever moving to the activated position, and is moveable in a second direction relative to the selection plate in response to the actuating lever moving to the deactivated position. When the selection plate is in the radial drive position and the actuating lever is moved to the activated position, the push plate moves toward the selection plate to switch the radial drive mechanism to an engaged state.

Drain cleaning machine

A fish tape tool includes a housing, a chamber defined in the housing, and a motor supported by the housing. The motor is configured to rotate in a first direction and a second direction that is opposite the first direction. An output reel is disposed in the chamber and is rotatable in response to receiving torque from the motor. A drum contains a fish tape and including a rotatable drum portion having an inner wall that is engaged by the output reel when the drum is inserted into the chamber of the housing. When the drum portion is rotated by the output reel in the first direction, fish tape is dispensed from the drum. When the drum portion is rotated by the output reel in the second direction, fish tape is retracted into the drum.

A drain cleaner includes a shroud with a closed end and an open end opposite the closed end and a drum assembly positioned within the shroud. The drum assembly is rotatable relative to the shroud. The drum assembly includes an inner drum and a drum cover extending entirely over an open forward end of the inner drum. The drain cleaner also includes a flexible cable stored within a cavity defined by the inner drum and the drum cover of the drum assembly. The flexible cable is supported by the inner drum. The drain cleaner further includes a handle assembly coupled to and extending rearwardly from the shroud. The handle assembly includes a motor, a grip, and an actuator to selectively energize the motor. The actuator is positioned in an area defined between the grip and the shroud.

Drain cleaner

A wire stripper includes a housing and a bushing coupled to the housing and having a tooth engageable with a wire for stripping an insulation jacket therefrom. The wire stripper also includes a drive mechanism configured to rotate the bushing about a longitudinal axis. The wire stripper also includes a depth adjustment mechanism arranged in the housing along the longitudinal axis. The depth adjustment mechanism includes a depth stop member and a telescoping shaft to which the depth stop member is coupled. The telescoping shaft is configured to telescope within the housing as the depth stop member moves between a first position, in which a first distance is defined between the depth stop member and the tooth, and a second position, in which a second distance is defined between the depth stop member and the tooth. The first distance is greater than the second distance.

An expansion tool includes a housing, a motor supported within the housing, a mandrel, and a drive mechanism configured to convert a rotational input from the motor into translational movement of the mandrel. The drive mechanism includes a cam and a drive shaft coupled to the cam. The expansion tool further includes a frame including a hub and a neck extending from the hub and having an opening. A working element is coupled to the neck and has a plurality of jaws movable from a closed position toward an expanded position in response to movement of the mandrel from a retracted position toward an extended position. The mandrel extends through the opening to engage the jaws, and the drive shaft is rotatably supported by the hub.

PEX expansion tool

A drain cleaner including a cable configured to be inserted into a drain, a drum supporting the cable, a first motor operable to rotate the drum, and a cable feed control mechanism configured to feed the cable in a linear direction along a first axis. The cable feed control mechanism includes a second motor, a drive wheel rotatable by the second motor about a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis, and a driven wheel rotatable about a third axis that is parallel to the second axis. The drive wheel and the driven wheel are configured to engage the cable to feed the cable along the first axis.
