Various embodiments of a tire having a three-dimensional tire sipe are disclosed. In one embodiment, a tire sipe used in a tire is provided, the tire sipe comprising: a radially inner sipe taper portion having a radially inner sipe width Wand a radially inner sipe transition width W, wherein the radially inner sipe width Wis greater than the radially inner sipe transition width W; a radially outer sipe taper portion having a radially outer sipe width Wand a radially outer sipe transition width W, wherein the radially outer sipe width Wis greater than the radially outer sipe transition width W; and a sipe radially central portion having a plurality of individual sipe radially angled portions oriented in a zig-zag pattern, wherein the sipe radially central portion is oriented radially between the radially inner sipe taper portion and the radially outer sipe taper portion.

Three-dimensional tire sipe

A tire includes a pair of beads and a crown region including a circumferential tread disposed radially above a circumferential belt. The tire further includes a pair sidewalls extending from the pair of beads to the crown region. A body ply wraps around the pair of beads and terminates in a pair of turn up ends in the crown region, below the middle 30% of the circumferential belt. A conductive substance is disposed along a strip of the body ply.

A tire includes at least one annular structure configured to interface with a wheel. The tire also includes a circumferential tread disposed in a crown region of the tire and an intermediate elastomeric layer having a conductive bleeder cord. The conductive bleeder cord extends from the annular structure to at least a middle third of a tread width and includes a metallic component that conducts electric charge and a textile component that permits gas evacuation.

A tire includes a body ply sheet having a rubber core defined by a top surface having a length and a width, a bottom surface having substantially the same length and width, and side surfaces having a common height. The rubber core is further defined by a top rubber layer and a bottom rubber layer. The body ply sheet includes reinforcement cords disposed between the top rubber layer and the bottom rubber layer. The reinforcement cords are spaced 0.1-4.0 mm apart from each other and span the width of the body ply sheet. Bleeder cords are disposed on the body ply sheet and spaced 8-12 cm apart from each other. Conductive cords are also disposed on the body ply and spaced 20-80 cm apart from each other.

A tire includes a circumferential tread, a pair of beads, and a pair of sidewalls. The tire further includes a plurality of circumferential belts disposed below the circumferential tread and extending in an axial direction. The plurality of circumferential belts include a lower belt and an upper belt. The tire also includes at least one gum strip. The at least one gum strip has a first portion in contact with a top surface of the lower belt and a bottom surface of the upper belt. The at least one gum strip has a second portion disposed below the lower belt.
