A fluid end of a pump includes a fluid end body, a suction cap removably received within the bore of the fluid end body, and at least one retainer nut removably coupled with the fluid end body and disposed axially adjacent to the suction cap. The retainer nut includes a projection that extends outwards from the fluid end body. The fluid end includes at least one clamping assembly adapted to engage with a portion of the fluid end to prevent a rotation of the retainer nut relative to the fluid end body. The clamping assembly includes a clamp removably coupled with the retainer nut and a reaction arm removably coupled with the clamp and extending radially outwards from the annular portion of the clamp. The clamp includes an annular portion that circumferentially engages with the projection of the retainer nut.

Fluid end of pump

A fluid pump may include a fluid chamber, a plunger configured to reciprocate within the fluid chamber, and a valve system including multiple valves. The multiple valves each may be configured to control fluid flow into the fluid chamber or each may be configured to control fluid flow out from the fluid chamber.

Multiple-valve system for a fluid pump

A valve cartridge for a fluid end for a well stimulation pump is discussed and illustrated. The valve cartridge optionally includes: a valve body, a spring engaging the valve body on a first side thereof, and a housing at least partially enclosing the valve body and spring. The housing can define one or more passages therethrough. The housing can define one or more seats adjacent the one or more passages. The one or more seats can be configured to be selectively engaged by the valve body on a second side thereof.

Valve cartridge

A fluid pump may include a power end, a fluid end having a cartridge bore, and a valve cartridge configured for insertion into, and removal from, the cartridge bore as a unit. The valve cartridge may include a cartridge body having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a first valve assembly configured to control fluid flow through the fluid inlet, and a second valve assembly configured to control fluid flow through the fluid outlet.

Valve cartridge for a fluid pump

A dart valve comprises a valve housing. The valve housing comprises a valve inlet, a valve outlet, a housing wall and an aperture extending through the housing wall between the valve inlet and valve outlet. The dart valve further comprises a valve cartridge. The valve cartridge comprises a cartridge housing configured to allow fluid to flow therethrough from a cartridge inlet to a cartridge outlet; and a valve plunger slidably mounted in the cartridge housing and configured to selectively allow fluid to flow from the cartridge inlet to the cartridge outlet. The valve cartridge is configured to be inserted through the aperture for removably mounting the valve cartridge within the valve housing, in a mounted position, such that the valve inlet is in communication with the cartridge inlet, the cartridge outlet is in communication with the valve outlet and fluid is able to flow from the valve inlet to the valve outlet through the valve cartridge.

Dart valve

A flexible hose end fitting assembly includes a first portion defining a first fluid passageway and having a first end configured for coupling to a fluid conduit, a second portion defining a second fluid passageway and having a first end configured for coupling to a second end of the first portion and a second end configured for securely affixed to a flexible hose. A gasket is disposed in a groove formed in an interface between the first portion and the first end of the second portion of the assembly, and the first portion and the first end of the second portion of the assembly are securely fastened together by a plurality of threaded fasteners to form a continuous fluid passageway between the fluid conduit and the flexible hose.

A positive displacement pump includes a suction cover disposed in a suction access bore defined in the fluid end and housing, where the suction cover is configured to cover the suction access bore. A retainer nut is configured for abutting against the suction cover and retaining the suction cover within the suction access bore. A suction gland has an inner circumferential threaded interface configured to engage an external circumferential threaded interface defined on the retainer nut, and the suction gland has a plurality of threaded openings configured to receive a plurality of threaded fasteners that can be used for securely fastening the suction gland to the fluid end housing.

Modular suction gland assembly

A fluid end block for a reciprocating pump defines a fluid chamber and a packing bore. An outlet fluid passage is formed in the fluid end block in communication with the fluid chamber and includes an outlet valve. An inlet fluid passage is formed in the fluid end block in fluid communication with the fluid chamber and includes an inlet valve. A plunger is reciprocally disposed in the packing bore. Packing in the packing bore is positioned to contact the plunger and a packing sleeve is disposed between the packing and the packing bore. The packing sleeve is a hollow cylinder with inner and outer surfaces and an inner end configured to be inserted into the packing bore. The inner end includes a bevel extending between the outer surface and the inner end, the outer surface including a notch formed therein adjacent the inner end.

A valve assembly includes a valve body defining an internal region, an inlet passageway, and an outlet passageway, wherein the inlet and outlet passageways fluidly communicate with the internal region. A valve seat is positioned within the internal region defining a fluid passageway. A hanger is connected to the valve body. A linkage assembly is pivotally and rotatably to the hanger and a valve member is pivotally connected to the hanger via the linkage assembly, wherein the valve member is movable between an open configuration, in which fluid flow is permitted through the fluid passageway, and a closed configuration, in which the valve member engages the valve seat to at least partially restrict fluid flow through the fluid passageway.

Ball design clapper assembly

A suction cover assembly for a frac pump includes a suction cover having an annular base flange defining a sealing interface proximate to the base flange. The suction cover is dimensioned to be accommodated within a bore well of a fluid cylinder in the pump. An annular seal is seated on the sealing interface proximate to the base flange of the suction cover.

Suction bore cover and seal arrangement

A syringe assembly for a hydraulic fracturing system includes a syringe having a material chamber, a base fluid chamber, and a piston. The material chamber is configured to be fluidly connected to a fluid conduit. The piston retracts to draw material into the material chamber. The piston extends to push the material into the fluid conduit. The syringe assembly includes a diverter fluidly connected to the base fluid chamber and moveable between first and second positions. The first position of the diverter fluidly connects the base fluid chamber to a base fluid reservoir of the hydraulic fracturing system and fluidly disconnects the base fluid chamber from an outlet of a frac pump of the hydraulic fracturing system. The second position of the diverter fluidly connects the base fluid chamber to the outlet of the frac pump and fluidly disconnects the base fluid chamber from the base fluid reservoir.

Fluid delivery device for a hydraulic fracturing system

A fluid delivery device for a hydraulic fracturing system includes a fluid conduit having a fracking fluid outlet configured to be fluidly connected to a well head for delivering a fracking fluid to the well head. The fluid conduit includes a base fluid inlet configured to be fluidly connected to the outlet of a frac pump such that the fluid conduit is configured to receive a flow of base fluid from the frac pump. An injection system is fluidly connected to the fluid conduit downstream from the base fluid inlet and upstream from the fracking fluid outlet. The injection system is configured to be fluidly connected to a material source. The injection system is configured to inject at least one material of the fracking fluid from the material source into the fluid conduit downstream from the frac pump to generate the fracking fluid within the fluid conduit.
