In one embodiment, a method of presenting a virtual manufacturing environment includes receiving a vehicle identification number of a vehicle being manufactured, receiving one or more parts assigned to the vehicle, determining a stage of manufacturing for the vehicle based at least in part on the one or more parts, generating a virtual representation of the vehicle in a virtual manufacturing environment, and preparing for display the virtual representation of the vehicle and the virtual manufacturing environment.

The system also includes a conlight sensor to determine a sunlight condition, a navigation unit to determine navigational information pertaining to the vehicle, and an electronic control unit communicatively coupled to the first display panel, the second display panel, the conlight sensor, and the navigation unit. The electronic control unit determines an estimated light intensity on the first display panel based on the navigation information and the sunlight condition, and presents a prompt on the second display panel to duplicate contents displayed on the first display panel onto the second display panel when the estimated light intensity exceeds a reference light intensity value.

The interior of the vehicle can be scanned with a camera of a mobile device to locate one or more symbols or shapes within the interior. The one or more symbols or shapes can be processed using one or more machine learning models to obtain data associated with the one or more symbols or shapes. The data associated with the one or more symbols or shapes can be displayed to a driver of the vehicle.

An automatic braking system for a vehicle includes a sensor system configured to detect the previous speed of the vehicle, occupancy of a driver's seat of the vehicle, and an input to at least one of an accelerator pedal of the vehicle and a brake pedal of the vehicle. The automatic braking system also includes a control module communicatively connected to the sensor system and configured to automatically brake the vehicle when the vehicle was previously stopped, the driver's seat is occupied, and there is no input to the accelerator pedal or the brake pedal.

A vehicle is provided that includes a cruise control deactivation system. The system includes a cruise control system, and a user control that, when activated, commands deactivation of the cruise control system. The system also includes a processor configured to permit or override the commanded deactivation of the cruise control system while the vehicle is moving, based on at least one criterion. Criteria may include whether or not a first sensor detects a foot of a driver of the vehicle on an accelerator pedal of the vehicle, and whether or not a first computation indicates that the deactivation of the cruise control system will cause a collision with a second vehicle located behind the vehicle.
