A method of consolidating user actions across a plurality of electronic devices. The method comprises receiving information from each of a plurality of electronic devices associated with a common user, where the receiving is performed by a consolidation application executing on a server computer, and analyzing the information by the consolidation application. The method further comprises identifying by the consolidation application a first application installed on a first one of the electronic devices, based on a plurality of mappings of related applications to different compatible electronic devices, determining that a second application related to the first application is compatible with a second one of the electronic devices, and sending a message to the second one of the electronic devices that suggests that the second application be installed on the second one of the electronic devices, whereby a user installs the second application on the second one of the electronic devices.

The wireless communication device in one example embodiment includes an interface configured to communicate with a user and with external devices, a storage system configured to store at least an orientation detect routine and reference point information corresponding to two or more reference points on the wireless communication device, and a processing system coupled to the interface and the storage system and configured to determine if a predetermined orientation capture event has occurred, if the predetermined orientation capture event has occurred, then determine relative positions of the two or more reference points, save the relative positions of the two or more reference points to the orientation information and accumulate the orientation information for the wireless communication device, and transfer the orientation information to an external device or devices at intervals.

A wireless communication system includes a transparent lens system coupled to a frame that positions the lens system in front of a user's eye when the frame is mounted on the user's head. A wireless transceiver wirelessly receives display control signals and transfers the display control signals to an LCD system that is embedded within the transparent lens system. The LCD system renders images and transparency in response to the display control signals. In some examples, an optical receiver transfers the optical information signals to the wireless transceiver, and the transceiver wirelessly transfers the optical information signals. In some examples, a wireless communication device wirelessly transfers the display control signals and receives the optical information signals.

The method further comprises receiving a selection of a font size and, based on the font size selection, determining and presenting an altered flow of screens and icons automatically in the user interface of the mobile communication device with the selected font size.

Automatically adapting accessibility features in a device user interface

Systems, methods, devices, and computer-readable media for initiating an emergency mode are provided. Emergency modes may be initiated from mobile devices in an accessible manner while still avoiding accidental actuation as a common occurrence. Some devices are simplified to the level of only having a single button so it may be quite difficult to dial a number (as there is no dial pad). In particular, it may be quite difficult to dial 9-1-1 in an emergency situation. Further, if only a single action is required in order to initiate an emergency mode on any user device, accidental actuation may become quite common. To combat this, a sequence of actions may be used such that accidental actuation is avoided and emergency modes are still accessible on user devices without dial pad functionality. In particular, a simultaneous push/pull action may initiate an emergency mode.

The invention is directed to methods and systems for managing access to secured data. In particular, the invention provides a three-fold security layer to manage access to a virtual application by verifying a user device, user credentials, and a physical identifier. Each of the user device, user credentials, and the physical identifier is associated with a user and identification of each is required to grant access to the virtual application. A user may enter, from an authorized user device, user credentials, such as a user name and password. The user may then physically contact the physical identifier and the user device in order to automatically generate a unique token required to automatically gain access to the virtual application.
