A crop bale wrap delivery system and method selectively pays out a sheet of wrap at a selectable sheet feed rate selected from a range of sheet feed rates. The wrap delivery system and method selectively pays out a first portion of the wrap onto a rotating crop module at a first sheet feed rate and pays out a second portion of the wrap onto the module at a second sheet feed rate different from the first sheet feed rate. Three or more portions of the wrap may be payed out onto the crop module at three of more differed sheet feed rates that may be selectable by an operator or based on properties of the wrap material or the crop. The wrap feed rate may be a selectable variable or a continuously variable sheet feed rate selected from a range of pay out feeds or feed rates.

Crop bale wrap delivery system and method

A round bale or module building assembly with a frame having a first wall and a second wall separated from one another by a module width and a plurality of rollers positioned between the first wall and the second wall, the plurality of rollers defining at least one belt path. Wherein, at least two rollers of the plurality of rollers have a combined width configured to substantially span the module width.

Split roller configuration for a round module builder or round baler

A baler for forming a bale of crop material includes a plurality of walls defining a bale chamber. A drive roller and a plurality of idler rollers are disposed in the bale chamber. At least one baling belt contacts the drive roller and the plurality of idler rollers. A bale engagement roller is rotatable about a bale engagement roller axis. The bale engagement roller is positioned to directly engage crop material in the bale chamber. An actuator is coupled to the bale engagement roller. The actuator translates the bale engagement roller in a direction perpendicular to the bale engagement roller axis.

Baler with a moveable roller

A module builder of an agricultural vehicle includes a chamber operable to support and form a product. A wrap is feedable into the chamber through a pinch point, the pinch point partially defined by a rotatable roller. A belt at least partially defines a wrap path. The wrap is configured to move along the wrap path to surround the product in the chamber. A gas flow system and/or a reversing belt is operable to direct the wrap from the pinch point toward the wrap path.

System and method for directing a module wrap

A wrap guide arrangement is provided for an agricultural harvesting machine having a module-forming chamber and wrapping system having a source of a wrapping material and a wrap conveyor arrangement for guiding the wrapping material from the source to the conveyor arrangement. The wrap guide arrangement has a wrap roll extending along an axis of rotation and having an outer circumference receiving the wrapping material. A guide plate has an axially extending body and at least one finger extending from the body toward the wrap roll. At least a part of the at least one finger extends proximate the outer circumference of the wrap roll between the wrap roll and the wrapping material.

Module wrap guide arrangement

An adjustable material-conveying duct and a flow area adjustment device are described. The duct may include two wall sections, the second wall section having two mounting connections, oriented at an angle with respect to one another. When the second wall section is mounted to the first wall section via a first mounting connection, the wall sections form a first angle in a flow channel of the duct. When the second wall section is mounted to the first wall section via a second mounting connection, the wall sections form a second, different angle in the flow channel. A flow sensor, controller and automatic adjustment device may also be utilized to control the orientation of the wall sections.

Material-conveying duct with adjustable geometry

A cotton accumulator system for a cotton harvester. The cotton accumulator system includes a cotton storage structure having an upper inlet and a lower outlet. A paddle shaft is coupleable to the cotton storage structure and configured to rotate about an axis. A plurality of paddles is coupleable to the paddle shaft. The plurality of paddles is configured to rotate with the paddle shaft to disperse cotton substantially evenly in the cotton storage structure.
