A work vehicle may include an internal combustion engine, aftertreatment system, and at least one controller. The controller is configured to use a temperature of the aftertreatment system to determine a hydrocarbon level of the aftertreatment system, and set an idle speed of the engine to high idle if the hydrocarbon level is above a hydrocarbon ceiling, to ultra-low idle if the hydrocarbon level is below a hydrocarbon floor, and to low idle if the hydrocarbon level is between the hydrocarbon floor and the hydrocarbon ceiling.

Ultra-low idle management

A mobile machine includes a plurality of ground-engaging elements that each include a tire, and a plurality of motors, one motor coupled to each of the plurality of ground-engaging elements configured to drive movement of the plurality of ground-engaging elements. The mobile machine also includes a speed sensor coupled to each motor configured to generate speed signals indicative of an operating speed of each motor. The mobile machine includes a tire calibration system configured to receive the speed signals from each speed sensor and to identify a tire size differential across the plurality of ground-engaging elements based on the speed signals. The mobile machine includes a control system configured to generate a separate control signal for each of the plurality of motors based on the tire size differential.

A system for controlling the speed of a hybrid work machine that has an engine assembly, an electric drive system mechanically coupled to the engine assembly, a drive mechanism configured to be driven by the electric drive system, and a controller in communication with the engine assembly, the electric drive system, and the drive mechanism. Wherein, the controller selectively engages the engine assembly, the electric drive system, and the drive mechanism to execute a braking function.
