A diffuser assembly for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a housing having a wall and a passage formed in the wall. The diffuser assembly also includes a first adjustment panel moveably coupled to the wall and having a first flange and a second adjustment panel moveably coupled to the wall and having a second flange. The first flange and the second flange define at least a portion of an inlet port of the diffuser assembly that extends through the passage. The inlet port is configured to fluidly couple to a duct and direct an air flow from the duct into an interior volume of the housing. The first adjustment panel and the second adjustment panel are configured to translate along the wall to adjust a size of the inlet port.

Adjustable diffuser assembly systems and methods

A diffuser assembly for a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a housing having an outer frame and an inner frame disposed within the outer frame. The outer frame includes an inlet configured to receive an air flow. The inner frame forms a first flow path for the air flow through the housing between the outer frame and the inner frame. The inner frame defines a second flow path for the air flow through the inner frame. The diffuser assembly also includes a damper assembly configured to transition between a first configuration to enable discharge of the air flow from the housing via the first flow path and a second configuration to enable discharge of the air flow from the housing via the second flow path.

Diffuser assembly for an HVAC system

A diffuser assembly includes a first blade pivotably coupled to a housing and configured to rotate about a first axis and includes second blade pivotably coupled to the housing and configured to rotate about a second axis. The diffuser assembly includes a linkage mechanism coupled to the first blade and the second blade and configured to transition between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the linkage mechanism is configured to induce rotation of the second blade about the second axis in a first direction in response to rotation of the first blade about the first axis in the first direction. In the second configuration, the linkage mechanism is configured to induce rotation of the second blade about the second axis in a second direction, opposite the first direction, in response to rotation of the first blade about the first axis in the first direction.

Diffuser adjustment assembly systems and methods

Aspects of the present disclosure include a primary air chamber configured to receive primary air, an induced air chamber configured to receive secondary air, a heating coil disposed in the induced air chamber, wherein the heating coil is removable from the induced air chamber without disassembling at least a portion of the induced air chamber, and the heating coil does not receive the primary air, a fan disposed in the induced air chamber, wherein the fan is configured to blow the secondary air received via the induced air chamber toward the heating coil and the heating coil heats the secondary air.
