Provided is a game system with gears and indicia, for modular game information record-keeping and record-changing devices, systems, and associated methods based on sets of mechanical gears having game indicia provided thereon. The architecture of the system uses combinations of mechanical gears, cams, shafts, clutches of various types, and other mechanical components that constitute an analog 'computer' performing basic mathematical functions, managing data, or performing analogs for life principles—such as the impact of events, physics-based or fantasized realities, interpersonal relationships, behavioral characteristics, conflict dynamics, etc.

A tile game system is provided that includes a plurality of two-dimensional and three-dimensional components. The two-dimensional components can include a plurality of modular tiles provided in various sizes and configurations that can be joined together to form a grid-based gameplay area. The three-dimensional components can include external boundaries for the gameplay area, internal boundaries, terrain elements such as columns and staircases, and game figures. According to aspects of the present disclosure, the external and internal boundaries can be provided with recessed sections that allow a game figure to be contained within a single grid square and prevent the grid of the gameplay area from becoming warped. According to some aspects of the present disclosure the internal and external boundaries can be illuminated and provided with removable and interchangeable light-permeable skins that allow a user to switch between various illuminated designs.

Systems and methods for designing and selling a user-generated game offered for sale via an online retail platform are provided. A user can input user-specified game information via a computing device over a network instructions for the development of the components of a game are automatically created based at least in part on the user-specified game information. Moreover, the systems and methods may further include transmitting the instructions for the development of the components of the game to an online retail platform, print on demand manufacturing the game, and thereafter offering the game for sale or rent via the online retail platform.

The random outcome generator for games comprises a base having a bottom wall defining a finger therein including a stopper extending from a top surface thereof, the finger being pivotally movable and horizontally biased, a top engaged with the base, and a dial secured between the top and the base and freely rotatable therebetween, the dial including one or more recesses in a bottom surface thereof, the finger of the base engaging a recess of the dial when horizontal and disengaging the recess of the dial by pivoting when the dial rotates.
