An axial flux motor intended for fixing to a machine comprises a stator stack as well as a rotor installed to rotate with respect to the stator stack, which rotor determines the axis of rotation. The stator stack comprises sectional slots on the side intersecting the axis of rotation, preferably the sectional slots include radial sectional slots or are radial sectional slots and/or there are 6-12 of them. Into each respective sectional slot a fixing part can be installed, which at least in the direction of the axis of rotation shape-locks into the sectional slot in question. The axial flux motor can be fixed to the machine by fixing at least some of the fixing parts to the machine.

The present invention relates to an electric motor and to a method for manufacturing an electric motor. An arrangement for mounting a stator winding in a stator of an elevator machine motor, where the stator may include a stator frame with a plurality of stator teeth and one or more slots between given stator teeth. The arrangement may include a winding frame configured to support the stator winding so that the winding is fitted in the slots and is adapted to be secured by fastening elements provided in the slots. The winding frame may include a frame bottom in contact with one or more side faces of given slots. The arrangement may include one or more flexible locking elements projecting from the frame bottom and adapted to be fit into holes provided in the slots. The locking elements may be inserted into corresponding holes to lock the winding frame and stator winding to the stator frame, as the winding frame is being pushed into the slots.

A stator fastening arrangement for a flat elevator motor may include a stator core, a winding, and a rotor fitted in conjunction with the stator. The stator may be fitted within a mounting part fastened to a motor body. A space provided between the mounting part and the stator may be filled with a thermally conductive filling material for conducting heat away from the stator to the mounting part. The filling material may be provided on one or more axial, outer circumferential surfaces of the stator and in contact with the mounting part so as to fasten the stator to the mounting part.
